Every time I bring my car here for service, I’m always informed of something new that’s wrong with the car. Keep in mind, I purchased the car (new) in 2020. In June, I brought the car in for service check (the car said 4 year maintenance check). Dropped my car off and waited to be called when the check was complete. Once there to get my car, I literally start the car (still in the garage) and it throws a message saying “left turn signal malfunction”. I’m baffled. There was never an issue or message prior to me dropping it off. I walk back inside and tell the rep that it’s throwing an error. He said when he drove the car from the back, there wasn’t an error. It’s crazy how that happens. So I ask him, what did you guys do to my car? He says “it’s just ware and tare” and the part “melted”. So of course my next question is “how much is it to fix this random melting”? He quotes me $550. I made the statement that it didn’t seem right considering it wasn’t an issue until I picked the car up. I legit hadn’t even pulled out of their garage when the message popped up.
Fast forward to today, Sept 3rd. My car hesitates to start. I take the car in to see if my battery is failing. It is, cool. However the technician tells me that now all of a sudden, my motor mount has “melted” and it’s $1200. And of course, all this “melting” is not covered in a warranty.
When I called the dealership in Houston, the rep told me that the small town dealerships have reports of unusual problems due to “low sales” and it’s a way of getting revenue. Shady business. WOMEN BEWARE!
I honestly believe the service department is not being honest or causing issues. It doesn’t make sense that a 2020 vehicle has an issue melting wires and pipes. If I even consider another BMW, it won’t be from this place.

I recently purchased a used car from Jeff Burnell at BMW of College Station. A wonderful experience from start to finish! If you are looking for a straightforward honest car buying experience - you need to go see Mr. Burnell! While negotiating every offer was itemized and included taxes and tags so you knew there were no hidden fees or charges (unlike some other dealerships in town). The entire process was incredibly fair and comfortable. Mr. Burnell listened and valued all of my concerns during the buying process. I left with a car I love, and Mr. Burnell left with a customer for life! Do yourself a favor and go see Mr. Burnell at BMW of College Station!
