$700 down on one of the new townhouses. 2 days later advised we were not able to move to brownwood. Rules state they keep the deposit , ethically this is where people will have to explain on judgement day.

I was there for a year, in a three bedroom. The complex is well lit and I always felt safe for myself and our vehicles. At first I had nice, quiet neighbors on each side. As many reviews state, the walls are paper thin with absolutely zero sound barrier. You will hear every conversation and every phone call. I ended up with college age roommates next door that were always loud and inconsiderate of having neighbors. The back yard was mostly weeds. The duct from the dryer was a horrible design from the builder as it’s on the roof an inaccessible to clean without having a company come and do it. The dumpster areas are usually overfilled because in apartment complexes there are always residents who don’t care. The office staff were always pleasant. However, upon move out I mowed the “back yard”, paid $150 to have the carpets cleaned, and spackled all the holes from pictures, TVs, etc. On top of that, after about 40 days post move out, I was charged $250 out of my returned deposit for the “standard” cleaning fee and $50 for them to mow again. All-in-all this place got me out of a bind because housing options were limited, but on the after completing my 12 month lease, I was out.

From 2019, since it appears this can’t be seen:Please do yourself a favor and live somewhere else. Maybe find a home to rent.If I knew better, I would’ve done just that. In summary, they overcharge you for the quality of life you receive while living here and charge you for things they shouldn’t, keeping some of your deposit with no valid explanation.Apartment -The walls are so, so thin, you can hear your neighbor using the bathroom, whispering, smell their smoking and cigarettes, and hear them having private conversations. I couldn’t even talk in my normal inside voice because I knew someone could hear me. The builders did a terrible job with insulation and building this property. The area around the townhomes is not bad actually. It’s the townehome itself. You’re responsible for mowing the backyard, which wasn’t the case when I first moved in. And when that rule changed, there was no notice to the tenants, or at least I was never notified. That’s fine, as they provided a weed eater. Just something to consider.Move out -I scheduled a move out walk through, as I’ve always done in previous apartments I’ve lived in. On the move out day, the office worker, Lisa, said that technically she’s not supposed to give a move out walk through. Explain that to me. It explicitly states in my lease that I should request for one, so I will get one. It’s that simple. Anyway, she honors what she initially agreed to with me. I cleaned this place inside and out, as I always do with places I lived in. I have pictures, videos, a witness, the new chick they hired was there and saw everything, and I have phone recordings to prove that the only thing that was even an issue was light paint because of the curtain rod holes, which weren’t even large. That was all I was going to be charged for is what I was told. I’m not even sure why they charged a fee for light painting, since the holes weren’t large enough, as stated in my lease. They also charged a fee for light cleaning. Again, I’m a clean and clutter less person and wherever I live is always cleaned upon move out. It looked like I was just moving in. I’ve got documentation to prove such. 50 dollars charged. Make this make sense to me. I called and spoke with some lady at the desk and she said Nicole would call me back. I’m still waiting for that call-back.Lisa also brought up the fact that I needed to get the carpets cleaned. Where in my lease did it state that? I never signed an addendum and I showed this to her in my original lease. Nicole never provided me those documents, which isn’t my fault. She agreed that this is true and asked me if I ever received a move out form, which would’ve included this stipulation there. I never received one upon moving out and I never received one upon moving in. So no charge for that.Management -They were unorganized when I signed the final documents and first moved in.The few people I had encounters with were fine. The maintenance guy is nice and quick to solve issues. Nicole can be someway to others, from what I noticed and was told, so just smile and tread carefully. She was fine to me. Lisa was probably the sweetest and most understanding. There was another older gentleman with a truck. He was very kind too. Get everything in writing though.Neighbors -If you have an issue with your neighbor, your best bet would be to contact the police department or non emergency hotline or the live in sheriff, if it pertains to smoking. The only thing the office will do is speak to them. Even the property manager said herself that I should contact them, even though certain things aren’t tolerated as stated in the lease.

They advertise these apartments as luxury, but negate to tell you….Only 4 washers and dryers for the whole complexHalf of the back yards are hard dirt/rocksThe walls are paper thin so you can hear absolutely everythingThe gym things are stolen and nothing worksThe front desk lady is extremely rude, and Seems to forget to put in request or do things for you. They go inside your apartment “ to leave a note”if you’re a single day late on rent. The price you pay for the apartments isn’t worth the headache this complex delivers. The best thing about it is that classic $30 convince few to pay on line ?I hate it here.

The walls are extremely, extremely thin. If you have loud neighbors with young kids then ask to be moved because you will not get any sleep. As others have stated you hear every word! Everything. They move you in quick but the thin walls are not worth losing your peace. I mean these places are not very well put together and it shows.

Very friendly people and a nice quiet place to live. The office staff is awesome. The property has a dog park for taking your dog out for a walk or just enjoying watching the deer.

Indian creek townhomes is a nice place to stay, it is clean and modern. It is also pet friendly and there is a small back yard to entertain. There is a gym on site with some equipment but not a lot because some has been stolen, there is a laundry as well. You park in front of your apartments and you pay extra for under roof parking. When I leave in the morning I see lots of deer on the roads there are lots of deer here.

Friendly, peaceful living, and reliable. These are just few of the many awesome qualities of living here. I have been here for a little less than a year and have loved every minute of it. Any question or concern I have had, Nicole the property manager is always helpful and makes sure I am taken care of. The management and hospitality here is one of a kind.

Be careful and get everything in writing with office manager Nicole. She overcharged me and kept half my deposit. Wouldn’t answer my calls or texts to get answers about it. Get a receipt for everything.

Stopped by just to have a look, and the (Nicole hedgpath) property manager gave me and my roommates a very instructive guided tour. She was really friendly, we all ended up staying for over an our just talking after we decide to sign the lease. The 3 bedroom we are going to move into is very nice with everything we could ask for, washer dryer hook up, a back fenced-in back yard, new appliances. And plus its animal friendly. AA ++++

Wasn't expecting to lease an apartment today but the property manager (Nicole Hedgpath) was so helpful and answered all my questions. With the guided tour she gave me and my roommates, made me want to move here even more. I was so pleased to find out everything they had available. Like washer dryer hook up and potential covered parking! We are all going to be moving into the 3 bedroom and I am so excited and looking forward to spending some time in the backyard this summer. Plus spending the summer at the water park/pool right down the road.
