“Store is small, clerks always friendly and helpful. Paula, the manager, I've known for about 40 years as a local clerk, she's great! The fuel price sign has been OUT for months now, so you have to pull through the tiny island to check fuel prices, which can be as mich as $0.30 higher than other stations during "$0.20 off events... but usually they're on par with the rest.”
“Mr. Hunter is always great. Been his customer for 4+ yrs since we moved here in brownwood. Always professional attitude with smile, and his employees as well.Mr Hunter business operates, vehicle inspection and gas station.If you have disability, not easy to walkout from your vehicle but, need to put some gas in your vehicle, Mr. Hunter and his employee come out and put the gas for you.He is truly a honest business man in town, me and my husband highly recommend him to anyone.????”

“Your employees won't ask if we want to put our # in, plus if we want to they don't give us a chance to and then says we can't go back you can do it next time. Therefore I don't go there much. If you promote the points and stuff your employees should ask the customers if they would like to use it.”

“Was in Brownwood for the playoff game Friday night. 30 something degrees and this was the only store open with working gas pumps, coffee and cappuccino. Allsups and Stripes both had no coffee and cappuccino machines were broken, all their gad pumps were put of order too.Guy working at exxon was excellent and super friendly!”

“I needed water because I forgot it at Walmart. They understood. Almost 2 times more than Walmart and the gas was the highest I have seen and paid. In all very friendly and courteous.”
“Had to go to Brownwood for my brother's dr appointment and took the extra couple miles to go get some chicken at Cousins. Never disappointed, really friendly workers always fresh crispy and delicious. If your looking for good chicken done right and at a convenience store look no further.- 5stars?”

“Just saw one of the sweetest things ever here, an older gentleman was having trouble standing and walking seemed confused and disoriented two employees a skinnier younger fella and a woman with red hair helped the gentleman get to his daughters vehicle... wholesome af. We need more of this kind of concern and compassion in this world”

“Cleanest neatest big little gas station. If you are passing through Brownwood, stop at this one. They have hot food cafeteria style on a small scale but bug enough you have options.Donuts, burritos, individual cake deserts,jellos,salads etc. They also sale beer if that's your choice. There is also a clean area where you can sit ,eat and relax a bit before getting back on the road. Bathrooms have wide curved entrances so no doors required . If you are wheelchair mobile, this is a definate plus. Large large parking lot in back as this is kind of a truck stop so there are some there spending the night. Place is very well lit so no need to fear walking in or out. Other stores like this in Brownwood are ok but this one has the most for the least.”

“The lady sweeping the parking lot was very nice but the boy at the register was not very nice or couldn't help me understand how to send a text message to you about getting my email's again. I couldn't hear him very well through the plexy glass . I asked him if he had a piece of paper so I could write down the information to text. He looked at me funny and acted like he was looking around, so I said " there are a lot of receipts just sitting on the check out printer and he could let me use the back of one of those papers so I could write down the information because I'm elderly I don't hear well I don't see well and he acted like it was a big imposition to ask him for one of those receipt papers that they just throw in the trash when they get enough of them I guess but then I had to ask him do you have a pen for me to write this down on so I love the store been shopping there for almost 12 years now live right down the street from it but I did not care for the service I got from that young man today he was very like he's heavy set young very dumb really in a lot of ways how he looks at you and how he treats people. Any way after a few intense couple of hours, my neighbor came over and walked me through the steps. Training, training, training I say.”
