I took my 2019 impala in for a rattling sound when starting back in mid October. I was told by the service advisor Joe Navarro that the issue was the catalytic converters and they were still under emissions warranty. It would take about 3 weeks to get them in. A month passed and I called Joe twice but he never answered or called me back. I finally spoke with the service manager this past Monday and was told the part was in stock yesterday. Today the manager called and told me they made an error and the parts were not in fact under warranty and if I had the repairs done I would be responsible for over $1,300 in repairs. Also the prices for a regular oil change have doubled to over $120. I would recommend that you avoid taking your vehicle to tipotex chevrolet for any service. Don't waste your time or money. I was a loyal customer since 2007, that won't happen anymore.

My last visit was for my 2020 Tahoe. It was having problems shifting. They got me in immediately. I was updated regularly the entire time. In no time I had my vehicle back, running better than ever! That’s why I go to Tipotex! No other dealership is as efficient. AND I am treated with kindness and respect every time. Even my wife who used to be nervous going into car dealerships takes the cars here too. Every time she is treated with the utmost respect! This is a dealership that CARES about the customers.

This complaint is not about NitroFill but first, let me start by saying that NitroFill is not a good service to be advertising to customers as an incentive to buying a vehicle from your dealership. Whenever you call the number for roadside assistance, you are left on hold for a long time, even if the automated system says you are "number one in line". I can imagine how long you would have to wait in a real emergency. Then the only place you can take the tire to get repaired is the dealership... Where you have to make an appointment. I checked the website which is a nightmare in itself. My wife took the truck to get looked at for the flat tire. Luckily they took her in the next day. But she took a whole day off work because we already know that the service department always takes a really long time even if its something simple. So, my wife was there all day and finally, in the afternoon, they let her know the truck was ready. She left and noticed something was wrong immediately. There was an error on the screen asking to have the "remote start system serviced". Keep in mind, we just bought the truck. It hasn't even been a month with it and we haven't even made our first payment. OK, we took the car back to the dealership and one salesman identified the problem right away but the service department said we had to wait two weeks to have the vehicle serviced by the service department. They told us there was nothing they could do and my wife would have to miss another day of work to take the truck for service. I looked up the problem and identified it as a wire that was disconnected while the service techs were replacing the spare tire in the trunk of the truck. That wire has a locking tab on it and does not just fall off. I believe the service techs deliberately disconnected the wire to force us to make another service appointment to create work for themselves to get paid, since the tire repair was free because of the nitrofill service we have. I reconnected the wire myself in less than a minute, which is the same thing they could have done to get us on our way and create a kind of trust and understanding that they are looking out for our best interest. We have been loyal customers of this dealership since the late 90s. We bought all of our cars there. we were lucky to always have a salesman who would take care of us and that we trusted. He would always take care of little problems like this. He has since retired and now we are having problems with your dealership. This is bad for business in my opinion. people talk. And now with social media, word travels quicker and pictures can be posted. just saying

I have a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 that I bought certified used from this dealer. At the time I felt like I had made a good purchase but only 1-2 months later, in the middle of summer I notice my AC having issues keeping up with the Texas heat. As time progresses and I’m tied up at work I have to work inside my truck to operate my business at the job site and I get cooler air from outside then I do my own new truck. I had to deal with this for over a month because I was too tied up at work and Tipotex could not give me a service appointment less than 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule. I finally find some time to commit to an appointment and bring my truck over with my issue and the next day I come to find out the compressor needs to be replaced. That’s odd to see a truck with less than 25,000 miles needing service let alone a part failure, this should serve as a red flag for anyone looking at a buying a vehicle here. Well a week later it’s still at the dealer and I don’t get any feedback, I send some emails but of course I don’t get a response, I finally call and the maintenance manager told me they ordered the part from GM but had no idea when it would arrive. Also another red flag. As of Tuesday of this week my truck has been sitting in the dealer with all of my equipment with zero progress because they keep saying they have no clue when they will receive the new compressor. It’s Thursday of week 3 and now they tell me it will take another 8 days before it arrives. Do the math and my truck has sat at dealer for over a month without performing any of its duties to my business. I could have considered taking the truck back to work and ignoring the problem but since my truck is close to the warranty limit now, they mentioned that the service may not be covered. They offered to put that in the notes of their system to be able to perform the service after the warranty expires but why the hell would I want to drive my truck with no AC in the middle of September, I’ve already dealt with it for the past three months, I’m tired of it. And this isn’t a matter of how I should compromise my day to day but why the hell it takes so long to get a single part and even more so why am I dealing with this with a truck having less then 25,000 miles, certified by the dealer, especially when I paid over $55,000 for it. They never offered to provide a loner vehicle or to pull the part from another truck or any kind of alternative, simply to wait and see if it ever arrives. Horrible truck, horrible service, learn from my mistake and go get anything else by anybody else.

I won’t even give one star to this place. I had an awful experience with these people when I brought my vehicle to the Tipotex collision center after hitting a wild hog on the road.. it took them 5 weeks to get my vehicle back, but before I left their parking lot I opened the hood to check that everything looked good and to my surprise the radiator fluid container was “completely empty”.. I wouldn’t have made it home before catching the vehicle on fire. So I went back inside and told the guy “who told me that the vehicle passed the safety inspection and it was good to go” I told him they should have filled up all the fluids!! He took the vehicle over to the service department and filled it up. I drove it home but while driving it I noticed black smoke came out of the exhaust.. the next day the engine light came on and I immediately called them to come tow my GMC back.. they said it now falls under the warranty from the collision repair.. so they inspected it about a week later and the service department guy who took over my claim said it had nothing to do with the accident and the warranty.. that it was a leak of gas somewhere in the system.. I kept arguing that my vehicle was perfectly fine before the accident so it was their job to make sure the vehicle was fully repaired.. that’s why my insurance company was paying them for and they were the insurance preferred vendor! I couldn’t believe when he told me that in Texas it may be okay to have the car with that small emissions leak.. and to not worry about it but the only thing was that it was going to use more gas than normal.. and that maybe in other states it wouldn’t pass the emissions test.. so if I want it repaired it was not going to be covered by the warranty or the insurance. Long story short turns out that it was a hose along the frame that was puncture during the accident! I was so frustrated and mad that he even had the nerve to say that it wasn’t related and it was going to be an out of pocket expense. So I had to wait 2 more months to get it fixed from that!! I asked them to provide me with a rental vehicle at least but I never heard back about that. Absolutely terrible experience with these unprofessional people. And on top of that they kept the locks to my wheels and never heard back from them to give them back to me. I do not recommend them for services or repairs! Save yourself a huge headache! The Honda service department in San Benito are my to go place from now on. They DO know efficiency, customer service and quality!

The staff is extremely well trained as they are all eager to assist any needs. In particular my service advisor Hector, has exceptional customer service skills and was attentive to not only me but his other clients as well.

The worst experience I've ever had. My 2021 blazer stopped turning on out of nowhere, I took it and they haven't given me an answer. It's been more than a month and 2 weeks and They haven't fixed my truck when I try to call the service consultant Ernesto Jaimes he never answers and when he does he tells me the same thing that he is not ready yet and he says it very rude. And whenever I tell them that I need a car to move, they say they don't have any. Don't come, I don't recommend it at all

Tipotex Chevrolet is 400 miles away for me, but I bought my car from them because they had the best price of all of the dealers in Texas. My sales representative (Gerald) was outstanding. He did a great job of communicating with me via text and phone. He also picked me up at the airport since I took a flight there to purchase my car.

A very honest company. I've taken a 2010 GMC Terrain that I bought my sister to service serveral times. Advisor Jaime a very honest person. Not only the advisor but the sales team as well. I have not purchased a vehicle yet but my experience in just getting info and looking around have been really good!! Soon, I will want to purchase a Silverado hopefully in a year or 2.

It had been a few years since I last purchased from Tipotex Chevrolet, went back the other day, and let me tell you, by far the best experience than any other dealership I have dealt with in the past years. Come shop at Tipotex, where they treat you like family!

Made an appointment online. When I got there the people at the service area were less than welcoming. When the lady with blonde hair finally “helped” me they seemed to have issues finding my appointment like they were unfamiliar with the system. She finally found me and told me to have a seat that a someone would be with me in a moment. The moment ended up being an hour. Me and this lady in the blond hair made eye contact several times and it never occurred to her to check on my situation. When I got up to ask a different person about what was talking so long, sure enough I was waiting there for nothing. They didn’t even know I was waiting for anything. I was very angry that I just was made to loose an hour on a weekend. My time is very valuable to me on weekends because it’s the only time I have off work to do the things I can’t do while I’m at work. I was finally able to talk to a technician about my recall and he ordered my parts. Took less than 10 minutes. I probably would have waited there 5 hours and no one would have noticed. The technician told me the parts would take a week to arrive and that they would call me. I’m going on 2 weeks, still no call. I bet the parts are already there and they just haven’t called or care to call. I know for a fact I will have another unpleasant experience when I go back. I will not be recommending Tipotex service to anyone. Your staff lacks customer service. 0 out of 10 won’t recommend.
