POS NIMODO was the owner's response when my mom's Mother's Day floral arrangement was not what we ordered. My father has ordered from this floral shop for over 20 years, when my sister reminded the owner of that her response was "yes I know your mother and she should be happy with what she got" And to make matters worse, the floral arrangement did not include the balloon that was ordered and paid for HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE

My parents have been going to Rios for 30+ years. My dad used them for everything. Birthdays, anniversaries, funerals..everything. Because of that, I use them on occasion to send things to my mom. I live five hours away. For Mother's Day I decided to call yesterday and order my mom a dozen roses. I started with 10 red and two white to represent my father and brother who have passed. The lady helping me, believe her name is Lorena, mentioned they had various colors so I changed it to 10 purple roses and two white. Card should have read "Happy Mother's Day Homie G" and there should have been a ballon than said "Happy Mother's Day." I get a phone call this morning from my mom and when I ask about the roses she received 10 pink and two white. So, naturally I call the flower shop to inquire. Lorena says they called me multiple times to notify me about the color change. I explain to her that I had no missed calls from them, then she says they even called my mom multiple times as well. I asked her to please verify the number she wrote down and, as I thought, they had the incorrect phone number. Good customer service is an apology, good customer service is admitting fault, good customer service is offering a discount. But at the very least be apologetic, I got none of that. Just her continuously repeating that she called me even after I told her she had the wrong contact info. I told her they had horrible customer service and disconnected. She called me back and said they would go pick up the flowers from my mother and reimburse my money. Again, this is not customer service. So I said no and hung up. My mom called me and suggested I call and talk to the owner. I did that and that confirmed our decision, as a family, to never do business here again. The owner said she didn't understand what the problem was. The purple roses didn't look good so she decided to change them. She mentioned that she knew my mom as well. I explained one of the main issues was their customer service. I explained the phone number issue and she said "well it was a mistake and we were busy." I explained how there was no accountability and that goes a long way. I had originally ordered red roses, but they went with pink and even after I confirmed the number they dialed was wrong it was an "oh well" attitude. I explained that my family had done business with them for years and we wouldn't be going back. The owners response was "nimodo." Too bad. This order was over $80. I could have definitely overlooked the color issue had they not been so rude about it but their approach was completely unprofessional. After talking to my mom more they also botched the card and failed to send the balloon that I ordered. She also said that she did not have ANY missed call from the flower shop. I'd pay $100 somewhere else to get the customer service and product I deserve. Never again.

One of my best friend's mother passed away in Brownsville. We could not make it for the visitation or funeral, but wanted to convey our support and deepest sympathy. Rios Flowers & gifts was recommended by a cousin of my friend. They made a beautiful stand spray that the family liked very much. I was so happy with how it turned out.

Great place to purchase flower arrangements! Service is excellent! Periodically I send flowers to clients to express my gratitude for having the opportunity to work with them. The service at Rios flowers is excellent! They are really focused on meeting the needs of the customers. Several times I have ordered flowers and they have delivered with outstanding service!
