Planet fitness Brownsville overall has always been very clean. Staff is always polite helpful and very professional. My only question is when or will it be open truly 24/7 like other Planet Fitness's? Where I moved from they reduced the hours during covid but went back to true 24/7 after it.

They always do cleaning. The devices are in optimal condition. But above all I love that everyone does their thing and there is a lot of respect from people. Excellent location on the freeway. I love hydro massage. I give it a 10 out of 10.

Very bad experience working out at the Planet Fitness in Brownsville yesterday. I was working out on a Sunday with very few people there when a staff member named “Anthony” rudely told me I was being “too noisy with the weights.” First of all: I was not being noisy and Secondly: this is supposed to be a gym. Anthony’s demeanor was very unprofessional and you lost a customer because of him. I will be canceling my membership. Most of your staff is very good however Planet Fitness needs to consider whether “Anthony” is a good fit. Even some of your other staff members told me that Anthony has an attitude and can be a jerk.

I tried joining here but there are kids everywhere and you couldn't hardly move because all their friends would clog up the aisles. Not to mention constantly while I was there you could see people use the machines and not clean them. Not to mention the hoops you have to jump through to cancel a membership. In all honesty not worth it to me.

I love that planet fitness gives you a space where your self conscious about your goals and the task of bulking up won't happen over night. That persistence and showing up is important and having the right kind of people at the front office and at the facility help welcome you when you are at a vulnerable position for change.
