This location wrongfully applied an auto refuel charge, even though I fill it up prior to dropping it off. I reached out to customer support via email, and uploaded my fuel receipt. I haven't heard anything back for 3 weeks. It is absurd to think this happens a lot. No recourse for customers.

Here's my story:I rented a vehicle through Dollar. I rented for one month. Pick up and drop off in New OrleansHad the car for about one week. Drove 12 hours away to S Padre Island where the car's breaks went out. Called customer service who promptly requested that the car be towed to Brownsville airport, an hour away but the closest location. I was assured that I could pick up another car at the Brownsville airport location on another day.Next day I get a call from a Hertz location in Harlingen, 90 minutes away. The car had been dropped off there.I thought it odd, so called customer service who again assured me that it must have been a mix up with tow truck driver. I absolutely was assured that I can pick up a new car on July 4th at the Brownsville airport.July 4th I go to pick up the car. There is no Dollar at Brownsville airport. In fact, there is none in Brownsville at all! (Hence the reason the tow truck driver propped off in another city). I called customer service, which is actually Hertz. They have a location in Brownsville. I'm told to go there. Drive 30 minutes and sure enough, it is closed for the holiday.Next day I drive the hour back to Brownsville to pick up a new car. Turns out, I'm told, that because I turned in my previous broken car early and not at the city of pick up, I was charged for the entire month plus 350. And I would need to pay for a new rental.I refused and was told to call customer servicewhere I just sat for TWO hours to be told that I could get refunded the 350 for one way rental and the rest would be taken care of later. I refused this offer and said that I need to be told the refund now. I was hung up on.So here I sit in the parking lot with a new rental that I just paid an additional 10 days for and a one way stipend to get back to the city where my plane is departing.There is not much to say beyond the fact that I have never experienced this kind of ignorance before. Never.ever.again.

Checking and checking was easy, but the lady and marcos at the front lack customer service, seems as if they have no interest in helping the customer.

Due to an unfortunate car accident, I was in a pinch needing a rental car. Enterprise was suggested by my insurance company but were completely unhelpful. These Guys are THE BEST!!! Set me up in a really nice ride and turned the nightmare around. They made the process pretty pleasant. A+

The gentleman that assisted me was very kind and took the time to show me different options as I was moving personal belongings and needed a bigger trunk. Even though he was working alone, he took the time to show me the vehicle, super down to earth . The man deserves a promotion ? ? ? ?

Despite what the internet says and what Hertz says, this small office is NOT staffed during the weekend. Sooo, don't rent a car on the weekend. You will wind up on the phone for an hour only to be told "Sorry, they aren't open," and then they hang up.L A M E.When you finally DO get a car, 2 days later, they are sorry and will offer you an upgrade.To a Nissan Sentra, which isn't an upgrade.Skip it.

Flew in flew into the airport only to be told that the Hertz counter is 10 miles away and not at the airport. There was nothing when I made the reservation online regarding this information.

2nd time renting a car from Hertz within 3 months. Very professional and friendly staff. Carlos was very helpful. Had no hassles at all. We will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to family and friends.

This is a great place to go and get a car or truck rental. I have used there service more than one time. They also rent multi passenger Vans. There customer service is always on point. Carlos was the guy who helped me out. Thank You Carlos I will see you on my next visit to Brownsville.

Worse customer service ever ! I literally rented a 30 minute Lyft ride from S Padre island yesterday to pickup My rental that I had reserved two days in advance. Only to arrive to find out that they sold my reservation to someone else which left me stranded. I ended up having to purchase another Lyft ride to another rental provider! ?. What a bunch of bumbs !!!
