I was very disappointed with Manager Norma of Casa Rodríguez Tile Brownsville in the inability to solve a customer complaint. I trusted them with a quote for a restroom renovation. While working on the renovation, I realized I had one bag of Mortar Bed($8.00) left from the list of material they sold me. I was requesting credit to be applied for a channel bright chrome rod I needed ($18.99) in order to complete renovation. Unfortunately manager was not able to give me credit because it was 22 days since material was purchased, it was past their 7 day return policy( most stores have at least a 30 day return/exchange). The employees had me, the customer, going back and forth around the store before I can finally get answers and buy what I needed (lack of communication and proper customer service). Through this review, I would like to create awareness for future customers. Casa Rodríguez is unprofessional and not accurate on their quotes. Please make sure you read the fine print, ask lots of questions, inspect merchandise, and know exact material you need. They will not refund/return/exchange material after 7 days. When asked if Casa Rodríguez employees could be trusted with quotes and craft knowledge, the manager stated it is the customer’s responsibility to know the exact amount of material needed. This is my first tile renovation home project and experience with Casa Rodríguez so I wanted to share it with others for informational awareness. I would like to add the initial sales person during my first visit was friendly, patient, and helpful when choosing color schemes of tile. It’s just their return policy that is an issue, customers need to be properly informed before purchasing materials.

Casa Rodriguez is a wonderful company to do business with. We have used them for our tile at two different homes on South Padre Island over the years. The service we received from both Julio and Jessica is absolutely wonderful. They have wonderful design ideas and are a joy to work with. Their pricing is by far the best around! We will definitely use Casa Rodriguez for all our future tile projects.
