Such a really fantastic experience to meet and see these wonderful and majestic Animals. I couldn't help but appreciate the absolute beauty of a big cat and even the cute little lemurs. This is truly a sanctuary and rescue facility and deserves support and appreciation. I for one will be returning in the near future and plan on visiting for a long time. The tour guide I had was very patient and entertained all my questions and showed companionship with these animals. I was very impressed with the staff and the tenants (the animals). Highly recommend that you visit and donate to places like this. Practice your chuffs and 'snuffles' before you go so you can communicate with them ???

This sanctuary provides much needed care for rescued big cats. Some have physical or cognitive didsbilities, and a few are survivors of mistreatment. The love and consideration that their caretakers feel for these animals is palpable, and I'll happily come back to support CARE again in the future. ?

My daughter and I Stayed in the lion safari suite in July 2023 such an amazing place. I was so excited to visit and was not disappointed at all. The animals are all well cared for, happy and contented. Some are elderly but still very much loved. Heidi and Jessica were wonderful hosts. If I lived closer I would be a regular visitor or volunteer. Thank you for what you do for these amazing animals

We thoroughly enjoyed the 2-hour tour through the facility yesterday morning. We were warmly greeted by the founder when we arrived and shortly were led around by our guide, Jamie. an amazing volunteer who was so informative about each of the animals' stories and background. It was fascinating to learn about the lives of these cats (and other animals) in the wild. A real educational treat! It was evident the compassion the staff had for these endangered beauties. While in north Texas, come by and take a peak for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

Such an amazing place with a fantastic and interesting mission. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. Plus I really admire the care they give their animals and the research that they do to help others. I would highly recommend giving them a visit!

Visited for a tour recently and had an amazing time! All of the cats have so much personality, and our tour guide for the day (Derek) knew just how to bring that personality out in a way you don't really get from other settings like zoos.Many of the cats came right up to the fence (no petting allowed, but it's still very up close) and you can really tell how well they're cared for and respected, and how strong of a relationship they've built with the animals in their care.Lots of opportunities for pictures, questions are encouraged, and you get to learn about each cat's story, personalities and quirks, as well as a bit about the day-to-day of the facility and how they tend to the animals.Would absolutely go back if given the opportunity, I have a lot of great memories from the visit. Highly recommended!

Derek and Heidi are absolutely amazing people. You can tell by how the animals react to them and those that help them, that they are well taken care of!

Had a wonderful experience yesterday at this rescue. Small tour group with the owner far exceeded our expectations. Informative and thought provoking. Loved hearing each animals history and how they found their way to this place. So much better than a zoo packed with people and noise. My granddaughter said it best “Best day ever!” We will be back.

I can't say enough great things about this place. All of the cats have amazing huge enclosures with things to keep them mentally stimulated. The tour was so informative and you can tell the staff really enjoys what they do. They told us about each of the cats' stories and personality traits. This is one of the best things I've ever gotten to do! If I ever come back to the area, I definitely want to go again.

This was such an amazing experience, we got to interact with the animals and felt like we were at
Home the whole time. The room was beautiful and all the staff was absolutely lovely. They made you feel involved in the day to day care as well. We learned so much and will definitely come back.
