“Jena has a very extensive knowledge of health and nutrition. She has set a solid foundation for my young kids as they are now better able to understand the impacts of making healthy snack and fueling decisions. Jena is very instrumental in helping my kids (and myself) better recognize our nutritional goals. Her practice has helped me out tremendously when it comes time to pack our game day cooler. Battling the Texas heat while trying to keep my kids fueled for a long day at the ballpark can be challenging but with her recommendations I now travel to tournaments feeling like I’m prepared with the best options in tow.”

We met with Jena to create a nutrition plan complementing the training schedule our 14 year-old maintains for her aspiring soccer career. Jena was knowledgeable and thorough answering all our questions. We left the session feeling confident Jena's strategies for meals and supplements will benefit our daughter as an athlete. More importantly, our daughter, a picky eater, is excited about Jena's plan. We've appreciated her follow-up communication.

I have worked with Jena in the past and came back to her to create a custom meal plan. She is meticulous creating each meal plan, trying her best not to alter the foods I normally eat. She takes into account all lifestyle factors and continues to work with you even after your initial session. I highly recommend using her for a custom meal plan if you are an athlete, student, or someone looking to hone in on their nutrition and learn.

Jena has been a critical part of my training regimen for cycling, trail, and ultra marathons. She custom built a nutrition fueling plan for each event after conducting sweat sodium testing and 1:1 sessions. I highly recommend Jena for all your sports nutrition needs.

Jena’s programming is thoughtful, tailored, and backed by her relentless pursuit of learning and knowledge. I asked for a nutrition plan that would fuel me for my workouts and support my fat loss goals. Most importantly, I wanted a pan that would be sustainable. I received that and much more - the time she spent educating me as she presented the plan was invaluable and helped me implement the plan going forward. After we met, I fully understood what to do and WHY. The options were based on what my body needs to fuel my activities, and it is filled with foods I enjoy. She was thorough in understanding my preferences and building a plan from there. Whatever your goals/needs are, I highly recommend Jena Brown!

Jena,Does a great job breaking down the food sources into groups. The meal plan is extremely easy to follow and stick to. She allows you to be proactive in your nutrition habits through proper food choices and finds a way to still allow you to enjoy eating through choices you wouldn't know were healthy. Teaching you how to be a metacognition learner in your eating habits - gives you that free well.

I reached out to Jena for daily nutrition and training/racing fueling help as part of my IRONMAN journey. What I expected was expert advice and I got that. She’s also EXTREMELY organized, demonstrated by her use of online tools, apps, and responsive communications.What I didn’t know was that Jena’s approach was to combine her expertise with a truly GENUINE interest in me as a person. As a junior Nutrition Science major at Texas A&M, I had gotten the amazing opportunity and experience to be a mentee of Jena Brown, RD. Having her as my mentor, and learning about her business strategies and goals, Victorem Performance Nutrition has been such a tremendous impact on my education and has given me a different perspective on the world of dietetics as her specialization is within sports. She has such a passion for her clients and is such an amazing person who truly wants the best for every group, team, and individual she works with.
