Took my dog here last minute and they took me in immediately and got her taken care of! This place really seems to care about the animals they care of. They have a friendly staff and knowledgeable doctor. Thanks!!!

I've always taken my animals here. They have always made time for our needs and treated my animals well. We had our dog put down and cremated through this hospital and they were very respectful to the fact that our dog was a family member. They also provided special food for our cats UTI problems.

I recently moved to Brenham, and the first week here, my Mini Aussie got really sick. I asked people I knew for recommendations, and 4 out of the 5 people I talked to gave Brenham Vet Hospital positive comments. I checked their website, and realized that I personally knew Lee Panko from about 23 years ago when I lived in Tekamah, NEbraska. I had a farm there, and Lee's father Arlyn had kept some cattle on my land. Lee had come out with his dad to feed and tend their cattle. They always took great care of their cattle, and even helped me with fencing for my horses. OK, fast forward.. Last Thursday, I took my Mini Aussie in because she got really sick. She was vomiting, and couldn't keep food or water down. I have been furloughed because of COVID, and my finances were really stretched. Lee was more concerned about my Maddie than the money. Lee told me we could work it out, and took care of her. He examined her, xrayed her, and gave her meds, and antibiotics. After a few days, she was still in trouble, Lee felt that the antibiotic was not agreeing with her, and changed it. He went into his office late Saturday night, and got me the new meds for her, and gave me more recommendations to do for her. By Monday, Maddie was eating and drinking again. Conclusion: Maddie was100% better by Monday. It is not about the money for Lee, or his staff. They genuinely care about the animals they are treating, and their customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The staff is courteous and professional, they have a passion for animals, and the Dr's are good at what they do. I will always trust them with my pets.

Dr. Panko saved my dogs leg after being hit by a car (we think car). Other vets wanted to charge over $6000.00 He was able to pin the leg for way less and my dog is doing wonderful. Dr. Panko explained the procedure so I could understand exactly what he needed to do. So thankful I found Dr. Panko. I have switched all my animals to his care.

Dr Panko is the best. he came out on the weekend in the rain to help my horse who was choking. We were a new client and i was just so impressed with his thoroughness and just very good at explaining everything. Melissa Johnson

Dr. Panko made all the difference in the world for my dog! Last year, my dog was diagnosed as diabetic while under the care of a vet in Austin. That vet clearly didn't know how to properly care for diabetic dogs and he continued to get worse with erratic glucose levels and degenerated to the point where he had massive seizure activity that got him hospitalized twice. On a personal recommendation, we brought him to Brenham to see Dr. Panko, and that decision saved his life. Immediately, he was being cared for by a team that took all of his health into account and saw the big picture. They took care of what they could and consulted specialists where they needed help. The seizures stopped that day right there (after an ER vet in Austin had told us he was almost certainly going to need to be put to sleep soon), and we quickly got him properly medicated for his diabetes and he's well-regulated and happy/healthy today, 6 months later! I highly recommend this clinic for its quality of care, professionalism, availability, and personal attention.
