This is a true 5 star review. The service was amazing. The breakfast was amazing. The room was amazing. The breakfast alone is worth the price of your stay. You will be taken back to a New Hampshire classic bread and breakfast ala Newhart: Placemats made of cloth, bowls filled with many varieties of jams and jellies, surrounded by hardwood. The pool is perfect with overhanging crepe myrtles that snow flowers in the wind. The grounds are lush with grass and bamboo. It's just one of those spots in the world that is near perfect and includes a family of cats.

Comfortable, centrally located with beautiful grounds, and the service is second to none! I can't say enough about the hot, homemade breakfasts ... so wonderful and tasty! If you are going to Brenham, stay here, you won't regret it!

Where to begin.. this place was amazing. Exactly what my husband and I needed. Relaxing, beautiful, quiet, romantic and comfortable. We stayed in their pool suite. It was private and had an amazing jacuzzi inside the room. The pool was right outside the room and they accommodated everything you could think of. The breakfast was served to us and delicious. The host was super attentive and very nice guy. Only downside, we didn’t get to use their outside kitchen, which would have been nice to cook up some steaks but, they charge a 25 dollar fee to use that area which is understandable. Overall, we will be back when we can. the perfect getaway when you need it!

One of the best hidden gems in Brenham Texas. The owners are amazing the rooms are so comfortable and nice the grounds are beautiful and the breakfast is amazing.

We spent our wedding anniversary at Far View this past weekend and we LOVED our stay. Steve and Linda were great hosts and made sure we were taken care of. The food was SO good and the room clean and cozy. The location was amazing, only a few minute drive to downtown Brenham. The property has a cute walking path, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and so much wildlife (we spotted a woodpecker on one of our walks). I definitely recommend!

We stayed at the Far View Bed and Breakfast for two nights recently to celebrate my moms 75th birthday. Steve and Lynda are wonderful hosts. The rooms were really comfortable and clean. You can tell that this property is well loved and cared for. The house is really very beautiful with a rich history. The breakfasts were really good, Steve is a great cook! I kind of expected the more basic kind of foods usually served like Costco pastries, watery bland eggs, keurig coffee, tea, etc. What we got was freshly cooked foods such as French toast, eggs, sausage, biscuits, bacon, yogurt parfaits, and fresh fruit. We had such a great stay and we plan to return in the future. I highly recommend the Far View.

This is a restored estate in downtown Brenham that has been converted into a beautiful B and B. The breakfasts are fresh and delicious. The rooms are comfortable. I stated during the Christmas freeze of 2022 and the rooms were warm and the water in the shower was hot. Beautiful place, staffed by great people.

Stayed here 2 nights for my honeymoon. Beautiful place that feels isolated from the encompassing roads. The owner was very nice and social able and only served to improve the stay. Id highly reccomend to anyone who wants a 5 star experience for a much more wallet friendly price. The breakfast were absolutely amazing as well.
