Turner Seed Co. was recommended to us by a college professor from Tarleton State University during an inservice hosted by our county extension agent. At the time, our family was raising goats and needed guidance regarding which plants nourished the soil (legumes as well as cereal grains), which perennial crops would help with forage ( forbes), and which perennial wildflowers would be successful on our land.As ‘newbies’ to raising herd animals, Turner Seed employed folks who were very wise as well as very patient, and they patiently led us through the decision-making process of choosing the best seed for our land as well as instructing us regarding the best times and processes for planting. Everyone from the secretaries to the men who helped us make choices and sold us seed to the gentlemen who loaded our vehicles were excellent with their jobs. Large or small orders, we continue to access Turner Seed for our organic fertilizer and seed needs.
