“Was visiting family. Late Saturday morning my sister's dog was bleeding from an unknown place. I called these great folks. They were getting ready to close but said come on. They were friendly and very caring. I recommend highly.”
“I had the most wonderful, albeit heartbreaking experience with VCA Lake Jackson, specifically with Dr. Pitts.
Our sweet kitten Artie became very ill suddenly a few weeks ago. I booked the soonest available appointment via their website, in a panic in the middle of the night, and got a call from them when they opened asking if we could bring him in immediately. We did, gladly. We wanted him seen as quickly as possible.
He had a urethral blockage, which was our suspicion, unfortunately. He spent a few days with them, and was sent back home as happy as can be, with prescription food and medication. Everything was discounted, and much was free, as we let them know we didn't have a lot of money.
Unfortunately, after a day, he blocked again. He went back once again, and again they unblocked him, upped his meds, and barely charged us anything for that visit. They sent him home and we got almost one more happy day with our sweet boy. Unfortunately he blocked once again.
The prognosis was not good, and after a last ditch effort and one more overnight stay, they let us know that beyond very, very expensive surgery with a specialist (that we couldn't afford), they had done absolutely everything they could do.
They helped us say goodbye to him, with nothing but kindness and EXTRAORDINARY empathy. These are wonderful, wonderful people.
They did not charge us for our baby's last night, nor for euthanizing him.
We got a card in the mail today, signed by everyone who cared for our sweet boy at VCA, expressing their condolences, with a little heart shaped card that we could plant, that would grow flowers to remember him by. I cried.
My family is heartbroken over the loss of our sweet Artie, but Dr. Pitts and the rest of the staff here made a terrible experience so much better. More than words can express.
If we are unlucky enough to need vet care in the future, this is where we will go. They were just amazing.
If any of the people that signed that card or cared for Artie read this: you mean the world to us. Thank you so much for loving Artie while he was there, and for your kindness and compassion. I am sure he misses you all, too.”
“I want to thank Dr. Peltier for helping my dog, Spark. He is SO much better today after the shot he received. You are humble and professional enough to understand to listen to the pet owner, even if there's a differing viewpoint, or with someone who may have some new information you are not aware of. Most physicians and also veterinarians can be extremely prideful and don't ever want to admit they don't know something. The best doctors, scientists, teachers, dentists, parents etc., are the ones that can admit they don't know, but that they will do the necessary work and research to find out. I really appreciated your respecting the natural and medicinal herb areas I'm familiar with, and willingness to work with me, not force me to just comply with what you knew or thought best. Thank you again so much, and I definitely will be coming back to you for my Pet Companion!”

2609 N Velasco St, Angleton“I went to this veterinary medical center to get my cat, Bucky, checked for any signs of ringworm(s). This was my first time taking him there, considering he is my wife and I's first cat together. One of the technicians, MJ, walked me through everything. They took such good care of my boy. I was informed that there were no signs of ringworms or anything else unusual. He could be a carrier with no symptoms. She recommended that he should take medication to treat, so I gave the green light. I went to pick Bucky up that same day, and MJ walked me through how to give him the medicine and even printed out a schedule. It was a tremendous help because I would probably forget what day to give it to him. Thank you so very much for taking care of Bucky and the work y’all continue to do for our animals.”
“My review will not justify just how amazing Brazoria Veterinary Clinic is.
You ought to see for yourself to know how truly incredible they are.
Starting with Dr. Huebner, an absolute wonder and we are so grateful for his ethical practice and kind heart.
Dr. Huebner and his staff are attentive, honest, kind, extremely knowledgeable and truly caring about each pet that walks through his doors.
Thank you so much for taking care of our fur baby Roo Bear, and us, his parents for that matter.
From the bottom of our hearts - we thank you!!”
