With all do respect . DO NOT trust this company with your business internet. Personal is up to you but it’s even worse, but I keep reminding myself that this company lacks competition. They won’t care about all the 1 star reviews until a larger company makes its way to the area Like AT&T U-Verse , Comcast Xfinity, Time Warner Cable (Spectrum) , Or Even Centurylink) . . I’ve had to deal with these guys being my only option for two locations going on a decade now. nothing but problems plagued my entire area, I was even told by a technician once, ‘we know the lines here are trash but it’s cheaper for us to credit your account when you complain than it is to correct the problemI now have AT&T-UVerse and it’s as if the heavens have opened and angels personally deliver a solid 50 mbps download speed.

TV pixelates Constant flickering and blocks of tile instead of a picture. DVR content useless. Customer service tries but field service is pathetic. No clue what they are there for and don't care. Canceling today.

Way too expensive and it's not worth it. If these pilgrims here in Brazoria ever decide to let some other competition in I think coastal link would be out of business, but I'm sure the city is getting a kick back somewhere by this over priced company.

cable is a joke Chanel’s go out all the time and the internet goes down regularly and speed fluctuate badly while trying to down load anything, the other day things were so bad a small file said it would take 24 weeks to finish downloading, hopefully the new fiber optic lines they are putting in will help even a little bit, doubtful but I still hold out hope

Worst freaking internet ever. Can't even stay connected to anything without lag. It really pisses me off how bad and overpriced this GARBAGE is. At least cut the prices if it's going to be so terrible.

I ordered new service and was told that I had to pay up front. I paid and the tech came out on Tuesday to install and left we had no service and he didn’t complete the job. I call them and let them know and the next comes out Thursday and says the original technician messed up and gave us the wrong boxes and everything. He leaves we still don’t have service. I call customer service again because they didn’t give a specific timetable for when they would return on Friday. Someone from there by the name of Ryan calls my phone and gets upset with me because I want to know what time they will return. He tells me that I just have to wait and it will be anytime from 8-5 and hangs up in my face. I call them back asking for corporate and low and behold no one wants to give me the number for corporate. Finally get the cable working and non of the channels that ordered and was told that they are included are available for viewing. I was informed that I would have to pay more money for 3 basic channels not premium service. Not at all happy with them and really wish we had AT&T U verse in Brazoria Texas. They have poor customer service and don’t value their customers at all

It is truly unfortunate that BTEL Costal Link is really the only internet provider in Brazoria Texas. Over Priced Internet and Crazy Bad Service. With Other Internet Service Providers Like AT&T U-Verse Or Comcast Xfinity I am Able to get 50 Mbps For About $39.99 and BTEL Is Hidious with 20 MBPS about Almost 100$ a Month! Over Priced Sharks!I set up an appointment to have my Line DSL Cable rewired, a week later the appointment arrives but the rewire crew doesn't. No phone call, no nothing. Customer service is about as helpful as a Bengay suppository. Gotta love them monopolies. Customer service finally sets up another appointment...for a week later?!?! This crew at least does show up, but all they will do is run the Line to a far corner the apartment, terminate it in that corner (second bedroom) inside and they are done. Can't/Won't do any DSL to the rest of the apartment. Guess they're big enough that my money doesn't matter

Expensive. With other internet companies I would be able to get up to 250mbps for about $60/month. With Btel, I MIGHT get 20mbps for about $100/month + the cost of the landline. I actually considered switching to a mobile hotspot plan for a while and would have if it had unlimited data. It would have been much faster and less expensive.

Wi-fi speed fluctuates heavy when playing on my Xbox one. I am paying for 20 mbps and the download speed goes up and down. I wish I could get AT&T Uverse in my area since when I used to live in Angleton Texas that was the Internet provider I used and it worked great. This BTEL DSL company it's horrible.

Was @ one time, a great company... Was..when they first came to Brazoria , and had people to impress... Now they suck a$$! Paying for 12 Mbps and only get a steady 5Mbs. Almost $85 a month. They refuse to admit that its their issue. I've done 2 months of troubleshooting.. Trust me.. It is... Smh...

Worst internet I've ever had in my life and I grew up with dial up. Actualy, dial up is more reliable than this garbage. Don't waste your money. You'd be better off just not having internet at all.
