My review will not justify just how amazing Brazoria Veterinary Clinic is.
You ought to see for yourself to know how truly incredible they are.
Starting with Dr. Huebner, an absolute wonder and we are so grateful for his ethical practice and kind heart.
Dr. Huebner and his staff are attentive, honest, kind, extremely knowledgeable and truly caring about each pet that walks through his doors.
Thank you so much for taking care of our fur baby Roo Bear, and us, his parents for that matter.
From the bottom of our hearts - we thank you!!

I have been using this vet for many, many years and drive from two towns over by-passing many local clinics that would be more convenient and have never been given anything other than excellent service with compassion and care. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in this area.

Absolute lack of communication. My dog has diabetes. I have used BVC for many years. But in the last year, I was directed on many occasions that my dog needed a glucose test. So we would also have her nails trimmed. Then, all of a sudden, on the glucose test, I was asked to come to a room. It's not a big deal, no red flags. They did a full visit. I thought maybe my wife knew about it. Well, the $60.00 visit minus insulin changed to $380.00 minus insulin. That was number 1. So 6-8 weeks go went for another glucose test they do the test while I wait in the waiting room, and they bring my dog out. (THEY FORGOT TO TRIM HER NAILS) So I bring it up. When she brought my dog back from the nail trim, she said the vet would like to talk to me. We go in the room. He comes in and does a complete visit Absolutely not what I requested and again never explained what was going on. I thought maybe he wanted to change the insulin dosage. Never knowing it was their way of gouging me. I left paying another $350.00+. That was number 2.
Now my dog got stuck between the wall and the toilet last night and saw confused. I'm no veteran or doctor, but I have seen what low blood sugar does, and that's what I suspected. My wife calls and tells BVC we needed to do a glucose test and what all had happened and a nail trim. I am listening to the whole conversation between my wife and BVC. I bring my dog in and to my surprise they bring me to a room. I told the lady I was there for a glucose test and nail trim only. She had to add the nail trim due to the receptionist lack of communication on the nail trim. But, a very big, BUT she was able to schedule a full vet visit again. After being told that a full vet visit is something we did not want and only wanted a glucose test and nail trim. When the poor helper came in to get my dogs temp, I asked what is this we are only in for glucose test and nail trim. She asked her supervisor, and at this point the receptionist came in and BLAITANTLY LIED TO ME. She told me my wife made the visit she knew. That, my friends, is the worst thing she could have done. I know what was said. She wants to lie about what was said to make a few extra dollars. The lady at this time has gone too far. I told her I would be finding a new veterinarian and have a good day. And of all the things she could have said, she chose, "Let me know where to send your medical records."
Now I also heard the Dr. Say some things through the door, but because I can not be certain what he actually said, I did leave what I thought he said out.
As an A&M veterinarian graduate, there is some shame at how I was treated.
Well, A&M will be getting correspondence on this matter.
If you choose them, good luck. I would just recommend looking elsewhere.

Although they are more affordable, I would not recommend this vet. The ladies that helped me were nice, but everything else just felt unsettling. I had brought in puppies for a vet check. They had their shots prior so I just needed a check up. When we went in, the tech (who didn’t seem to listen) was checking the puppies weight and temperature. She let all the puppies out to roam around and the floors did not look clean at all. I had just bathed them all, but then they ran through their pee because they were out. I told her multiple times what each puppies colors were, what age they were, and what breed they were. Then came in and said they were going to do a fecal test(this was not discussed over the phone when I asked what all they were going to do or charge for prior to the visit. I was just told it was standard but not asked if I wanted it done or what the cost was until I asked). When we were done with the visit, a different woman brought me my paperwork. While looking at the paperwork I see that the age, breed, and birthday is wrong for all puppies. This is after telling the first tech MULTIPLE times the age, breed, and color of the puppies. I’m concerned with the lack of organization and communication in this office. Please double check your paperwork BEFORE you leave if you do go here. Ask for all notes prior to leaving.

horrible experience!! I wish I could leave 0 stars. I took my cat in for a swollen toe on her paw. they drained it and cleaned it. they gave her no antibiotics or pain medicine to take home with her. I took her in 3 days later so they could check her bandage. they never even opened the bandage to check her wound. the bandage was on so tightly that it cut into her leg. they didn't put any gauze on the skin so they placed the sticky bandage right on her leg so when they took it off it ripped her skin off. we could see the tendon and it had become badly infected. they tried to argue that I hadn't cared for her properly and that she was too active when thay is not true. she was inside the whole time and was laying the whole time. sometimes she couldn't even roll around to turn because she was in so much pain. when i took her in the 3rd time they finally gvae her medication and bandaged her properly. they still made me pay for her treatment when all this could have been prevented from the beginning with proper medication and bandaging. Tgey gave me a refund of $33 from a total of almost $500. I will NEVER go here again. please save your pets and don't take them here. they are unprofessional and will leave worse than when they go in. the picture below is how her leg ended up after they took the bandage off.
EDIT:
I feel the need to add to my review now that the clinic has commented on this review. they say their records differ from what I am describing, but that is because the clinic did not describe the situation truthfully in the records. The clinic said when I left that she left in good standing.... however how would she be good if that's the day she was prescribed fever and antibiotics??? would this not be indicative of infection. no other details were documented for that particular visit. there was no documentation of the fact that her bandage smelled terrible once it was finally removed. no indication that the bandage ripped off skin to the point that you could see the tendon because no gauze was applied inside the bandage. the records were very vague and I'll defined. I saw the records because they were sent to my new vet and I asked for a copy.
