A few years ago McMillan was contracted by another party to move our house off our lot. We could not find anyone that would move it as it had to go by water. This was no job too big for McMillan. He successfully moved it across the canal back to land and to the lot for the party that we gave the house to. This was such a great experience that I contacted them to level an older home I own in Galveston. The home is on pier and beam and had slight sloping occurring. George came out very quickly to evaluate. I was expecting him to tell me it would be months before he could get to me, and I was prepared for this because everyone is swamped right now. He said he had a gap next week and he would start then, it may take two days. He showed up as he said he would and got it done quicker than he thought. His bid to me was higher than the work took, so he told me to pay him less. I have NEVER in my experience of working with MANY contractors had someone ask for less than their bid even when they knew it should have been less. As a homeowner, I accepted a quote and he could have required me to pay the full quote amount, but he didn't. He will forever have my business and referrals. I could not be happier with their communication, professionalism, and honesty.

Great job by McMillan Building Movers! The front section of our beachhouse in Crystal Beach, TX began sagging so I contacted George and Dee McMillan to take a look and see what could be done. George identified the problem to be with 3 pilings and provided a proposal to replace them which I accepted. He took care of all the preparation and executed the work in a safe and timely manner. The removed pilings clearly showed evidence that they were corroding/rotting and that the condition would have only gotten worse with time. In addition to the piling replacements, he replaced/installed additional floor joists and doubled the size of 3 deck pilings. The job addressed the sagging issue and successfully re-leveled the beachhouse. I highly recommend George and Dee McMillan Building Movers and would definitely use them again!!
