It pains me to write poor reviews; however, in this instance, I believe it is warranted and deserved. I had an ottoman that I wanted to have reupholstered for an anniversary present to my wife. I delivered the ottomnan to Cathy on March 1 and told her my anniversary was a little over 3 weeks away. Cathy assured me that there was plenty of time. Admittedly, I had little vision or direction other than color for Cathy and suggested she had full design approval. Cathy would send me some pics of sample fabrics and would get started. March 17th, I texted Cathy since I had not received any sample pics and asked if we were still able to get the project done in time. She assured me there was still time and sent some fabric pics shortly thereafter. I liked a few of them and asked if there was anything with a little blue in the pattern... Crickets... On March 24th, a couple days before my anniversary, I texted Cathy. Very sure I would need to look diligently for another anniversary present but holding out a little hope. Nothing... April 27th - No word from Cathy, I texted about the project. She texted back and asked me to pick out a fabric. No samples this time.June 9, I asked to pick up the ottoman. She texted back and said she would be there till 6. I drove over to pick it up. No comments from Cathy like - Hey, sorry. Got a little busy and couldn't get to your project. She just handed me the ottoman and said have a good day. I drove down the road to Morales Upholstery. Dropped it off and a week later had a stunningly well upholstered ottoman. Happy Juneteenth Honey!!!!Maybe if I had a clearer vision or an idea of what fabric I wanted Cathy would have completed the job, who knows. But I found it very disappointing and an exasperating experience. I truely hope I am a one-off and this is not her typical customer service. Good luck Yelpers!

Cathy was a joy to work with, she followed our desire to recover our big leather chairs that had been scared by our two kitties Orville & Wilbur when thay were kittens.We used a Crypton fabric with cow hide backs and trim on the ottomans.Love our beautiful chairs and Cathy's expertise!Mission Upholstery is the Best!B&B

We needed a small repair on a 15 year old car seat. I was turned away, (some places treated rudely) from 7 upholstery shops in Spring Branch, New Braunfels, Seguin, Canyon Lake, Cibolo, and north San Antonio. I made a call to Cathy at Mission Upholstery, and she took an immediate interest in the car seat, I texted some pics for her, and she agreed to do it that day, NO hassles, NO conditions, Just a friendly chat and a welcoming attitude. When I brought her the seat the next morning, I was greeted with the same cheerful demeanor, and we visited about cell phones, covid, church, friends, family, world events....I made a friend that day!!!. NO texts, NO excuses, NO change of plans...Cathy did her job, promptly, and finished with a top quality product sooner than we expected, notifying us with a pleasant call that the job was done...Next time we're in Boerne I'll drop by just to say hello.

I have a barber chair from the turn of the century. They did an amazing job on it. Absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend them.

A squirrel tore up my patio cushion. I called Kathy and we shared a laugh about it. She told me to keep my cushions inside or locked up when not in use. The squirrels in the country can really tear up your cushions! I took the cushion on over to her and she blind stitched it up perfectly! She charged me only $20.00! Kathy was warm, inviting and professional. I am trying to convince her to come to Fredericksburg to fix the cushions in the restaurant I work at. Cathy did an amazing job reupholstering three of my wing-back chairs and in addition making throw pillows for the chairs and another piece of furniture I have. Cathy is such a lovely person as well. She is very easy to work with. I will definitely use her for future upholstery needs.

We had six dinette chairs that required reupholstering. I took the chairs to Cathy based on a recommendation. She did an absolutely awesome job! They were perfect! Cathy is meticulous, knowledgeable and very professional (and personable!!). She was also a great resource in assisting with picking out fabric and color. I highly recommend Cathy for your upholstery needs. I will take all my future needs to her as well.

Cathy was easy to work with and has a large selection of fabrics to choose from in her studio. She created a custom window seat cushion for my daughter's bedroom. It looks amazing in the space. I will be using Mission Upholstery for all my future upholstery needs.
