Do Not Use this moving service!! 2 guys showed up 40 minutes late to my appointment and took 4 hours to move a 2 bed room apartment that was already packed and ready. Once they unloaded my boxes that were clearly mark fragile and glass, we discovered my dishes, vases, and glasses were broken. I called the owners several times and they have given us 3 different email address that were not valid. I've spoken to her on different days and now there is no answer. I was told I'd be reimbursed for the negligence of my property however now they are unavailable. Find a service that is truly registered with the Better Business Bureau since this company is not accredited by the BBB.

They don't pay their drivers drive time. I worked there and did way more work than I should have, gone for 14 hours get paid for 9 hours ... Wow... Trucks are old and breaking down ... The owner hides every time there's an issue with customers.. Should of paid me good buddy

I have used this company twice. The first time was awesome. Guys were on time, very careful with my items and worked very hard. I thought I'd use them again and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. I had a 9:30 to 10am slot. One guy shows up at 11:05...the other at 11:20. Ok only an hour late - I dealt with it. These two young guys took double the time it took the first two guys to move the same exact furniture and on top of that couldn't finish the move because the truck was too small. I'm confused how everything fit the first time but not the second. and the worst part is I asked them SEVERAL times to be extra careful with three particular items - antiques. One guy decided to remove the mirror instead of trying to wrap it and broke it. This mirror is over 100 years old, round mirror and is not replaceable. I had so much damage to furniture, walls, baseboards....never again will I use this company. I just wanted them gone. Too bad I can't post pics. Extremely saddened by the damage done.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We booked Flat Rate over a week in advance and they said they would be at our place between 9 and 10 AM, Thursday 3/28. Then they called and said it would be late morning/early afternoon. Then their "truck broke down" so it was going to be even later. Finally at 3:00, 5 hours after the time they originally said they would be at our home, my BF called them and they told him they were still several hours behind and wouldn't be able to do it that day. I took a day off work for nothing, our entire schedule was thrown off and now we have to find a new crew who can move us out within 3 days before our lease expires. Absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible company. Did not show up on day of move. Movers told my wife over the phone they were tired from a previous day's move. We had to scramble to find another mover since we had to be out by the next day. Awful...

I never thought I would ever say this but I found a moving company that not only moved us without a hitch but had integrity and professionalism. These traits are not commonly found in this field. The men were pleasant, understanding and considerate of our every request. 5-stars to Marco and his organization. TY again, Kevin

STOP!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They tore a hole a couch in our love seat, my daughters nightstand rolled off the truck ramp (where they left it sitting on an incline) and into the street, damaging the corner, left and 8 in long and 4 in wise scratch on another table, gouged the wood on my heirloom piano, to make JUST A FEW! Now 3 months later we STILL haven't been compensated. If u value your belongings USE SOMEONE ELSE.

It started out great with very responsive communication but once things got started it went bad quickly. When the truck was too small the owner couldn't come up with solutions that were realistic, the workers and us gave several options and he still couldn't fine a realistic answer. He tired to blame me but they are the ones who after multiple attempts never sent anyone to view the property. The truck died in our driveway for 4 hours and he left his employees just sitting in the truck with no communication or assistance. Several neighbors tried to help to no avail. Owner said it's a rented truck so not his problem. On the day of delivery they left 2 hours late but no one communicated to us at all, then the truck was in an accident to which the owner said, things happen stop complaining. After they finally arrived to unload our belongings one of the workers was worthless and was just on his phone the entire time. The other two did everything and tried to get him to move but to no avail. That same person then asked me for a tip in the end. I would recommend being prepared to babysit the entire process very closely. The workers told us that this kind of thing happens all the time. I am sure Marco, owner will respond but we have the documentation and phone calls to prove everything above. I wouldn't be as upset if he would have at any point had good customer service to even apologize for the inconvenience but instead he just kept saying you better not have a problem paying.

Flat Rate Movers have come through in our time of need. Marco, the owner answered my call and answered all the questions I had pertaining to the move. He was surprisingly patient, and even engaging to speak with. I felt comfortable right away and had a hunch about the moving company. While this move wasn't perfect, it was pretty close to perfect. There were some minor issues with time management, but it was overshadowed by their ability to safely transport my most prized possessions into my new home. By the consistent responsiveness and communication from the manager, and by the transparency in pricing from the very beginning. In the moving industry especially, this is usually a major concern. The customer is usually blindsided by an unusually higher bill than what was originally quoted. That didn't happen here, because I made sure to preempt the scenario from the very beginning. Thank you for a positive moving experience!

Flat Rate Movers aren't named that for nothing. My move was inexpensive because it was a fixed price, just like their name suggests. Our things were safely transported and the movers checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied with our experience. Thanks again!

Where do I begin, I contacted Flat Rate Movers a week in advance and confirmed a move with them. I had to be out of the place I was in the day I scheduled the move. Well fast forward to the day the move was supposed to happen I contacted them and confirmed again that the move was still good to go they told me between 3-4 which was perfect for me. I called again around 3:30 and they had told me they had a big move scheduled and was taking a little long. I'm a very understanding person so there was no issues I was completely okay with that. 6pm rolls around and nobody had contacted me or movers had shown up, I was starting to get worried. I tried calling the office and no one answered, a few hours went by and still nothing, I was completely helpless I trusted this company and they completely screwed me over. I had to call another company that was actually loyal to their word Above All Movers in San Antonio. They had to up charge the price because it was so last minute and at 10 at night which I didn't mind because they went out of their way for me. They came to the rescue thank god. As for Flat Rate movers they completely screwed my day up and caused me a lot of issues that were not necessary. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you're looking for reliable movers that will take care of you. They completely ghosted me like my ex wife. If you're looking for reliability last minute Above All Movers will be there. Again please for the sake of your sanity do not use Flat Rate Movers...

They have severely improved the quality and conditions of the moving industry as a whole. From performing so well on my move, that is what I honestly think. From my previous moving experiences, I never thought I'd say that about a moving company. However, my previous moving experiences pale in comparison to this one.
