Their website said they have walk ins available for Saturdays for passports. We tried calling ahead several times but no one picked up so we decided to risk it and make the drive from midland to big spring to get our kids their passports. Once we walked in the gentleman up front had his head down on the desk then informed me they don’t do walk ins on Saturday anymore. I asked him why he couldn’t pick up the phone and he just responded with, “my supervisor isn’t here and they normally handle that” my issue isn’t the fact they don’t do walk ins on the weekends, or their website isn’t updated, just that the guy was too lazy to pick up the phone before we drove 45 minutes. We had an appointment for today, the person that was supposed to help did not help us at all. We waited close to an hour with a toddler, we wouldn’t get a straight answer. She will come help when she is done back there. We drove an hour to get this passport. Just close all passport appointments if you can’t help! Or send an email for courtesy. This is ridiculous! Do not come to this place for passport services!!!!!

This is a small town for packages to get missing. I do understand that delivery can be hard but it is a job and should be done deligently like other jobs. I am told there are random delivery persons, but it is common sense to put packages in areas that no one can steal them. My package was nowhere to be found 1 week ago and today it was left outside and not inside the pouch. These have occurred with the weekend deliveries. I do hope this do not become a weekly problem. We appreciate all you do but kindly help us get our packages safely.

Filing with Post Master Generals office on conduct and denial of services from this Post Office. They are refusing to deliver packages to addresses and contact mail carriers are "loosing" packages or claiming they are undeliverable. Then when you go to pick up packages, they have no record of the package being there...
Our taxes pay for this.. There is zero accountability in this office.
No one takes responsibility.

I had an appointment at 8am to get my passport . I drove all the way from Midland & got there early . Whenever they opened the doors they told me they cancelled all passport appointments for the day, I never got a phone call or email about a cancellation. Unacceptable . I drove 2 hours round trip . If I could give 0 stars I would .

If you can avoid it anyway, unless you just love wasting time, don’t come in to the office. They rarely have more than one person working right now 10 o’clock in the morning there was at least 12 people in line when I got here. It’s been over 15 minutes and there’s 12 people in line now.. It’s the worst post office I’ve ever ever been in.

Be prepared to wait in line for at least 15 minutes every single time you come, regardless of the time of day. Employees are generally nice and kind and helpful, not disparaging to them one bit. They do the best they can with the circumstances they’re handed.

Opened a PO box in August 2023. Never received any mail afterwards! It is now March 2024 and the only mail I get is stuff I order online. I complained time and again "where's my mail?"They claim it's a "new system." Seven months! Wow. That's some system!I moved to Big Spring 10 years ago and tbh, have always had problems getting mail with this post office. This is not my first PO Box. Same troubles before too. Why pay for a PO Box when you don't get your mail? It's just really disfunctional.Sorry guys but it has to be said. The people at the counter are nice though.

I tried to get help from the local PO to track down why my 4yr old grandson's birthday gift could not be delivered. They don't answer the phone, they don't deliver the mail, they make excuses and then don't respond or update the status of the delivery. I partially fault Amazon for using such a poor delivery service in the last leg of a delivery, and have complained to them as well. If the USPS was run as a real business, they would be out of business. There is not much I can do to alleviate the issue as I live 7 hrs away, otherwise, I would go to the PO and get the package and hand-deliver it myself.

Pathetic mail service. The rural carriers refuse to deliver medium packages and leave “attempted to deliver” slips for every single package. Today, the line is literally OUT THE DOOR for package pickups because they’re too lazy to DO THEIR JOBS!

Loiusa, you are a professional person with a big heart, thank you for helping us today with a procedure that we tried to do twice at the airport post office and it was missing school work and lack of respect and you and your office helped us in about 15 minutes The process was done with efficiency and love. Thank you infinitely, continue with that professionalism and wing it.
