The room is standard. The location is the win! The park workers are all friendly and helpful. I love the fact the lodge is so close to the trails and restaurant. The room has no WiFi. The best part is stargazing! We saw the milky way during our stay.

Nearby activities: Hiking, 4x4 roads, river canoeing or rafting
Walkability: Walk everywhere in the basin no problem. Hotel to restaurant to camp store to hikes you can walk to it all.

BEST LOCATION if you want to stay in the center of Big Bend. All employees were great - happy and helpful and great service. Rooms are clean and great views.
