What a fantastic experience! We just happened in on this place - it wasn’t even on our radar! Amazing spirits and cocktails, amazing staff, amazing locals. This place just had the most friendly atmosphere with the highest quality service. I can’t recommend this enough. If you’re ever in the area, you MUST stop here!

Highly recommend this stop! We saw the distillery signs coming up on it and decided to stop. Our waitress knowledgeable and offered some background of the building, including its use as a movie prop and as a result it has all fake doors upstairs! We didn't have time for the tasting flight, which we regret, but we tried the Texas Poteen and it was very good. Definitely stop!

Best wine and spirits tasting experience in Texas Hill Country. The staff is super friendly the drinks are top notch, and the stories told by Kevin and his staff are excellent. We spent the whole afternoon there and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
A true hidden gem.

Beware of the participation fee during the spirits tasting. You may think they are joking but they are not. They will literally charge you $20/person to listen to them talk with no tasting. It is not on menu or clearly indicated. That was ridiculous. It is sad when a small town business with a good concept ruins itself by getting too greedy. Definitely won't be back or recommend for anyone to visit. I hope the money they make from the "participation" fee supports what they lose in business!

I've lived in Bertram for years,I always saw flanigan's yet never stopped by,until today and I'm very glad that I did.Kevin was extremely entertaining as well as informative with his history tidbits and his knowledge of spirits as well as films,I will definitely be returning the spirits are absolutely exquisite I tasted the majority of them and each was better than the last. I will certainly bring others here when I can and tell everyone I know about it.

Best Tasting Room In Texas! We have lived in Napa Valley and thought we knew a lot about wine… until we came in for a tasting and met Kevin! Such fun while we learned and were entertained by his stories - he made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend!
For around $30 you can choose a wine or spirits tasting. Generous samples of their distilled wines and spirits are poured during the tasting.
The venue is huge… dating back to 1904 and still has a lot of the original woodwork! They also filmed a movie here starring Matthew McConaughey and Ethan Hawke called ‘The Newton Boys’ ~ pretty good movie! You can see and walk through areas of the set seen in the movie!
Great time to be had by all. Great house-made food, snacks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts.

My husband and I were there this past weekend and it was awesome! Everyone was so friendly and enjoyed hearing about the history of the building. Great pickles too!!!! Definitely will visit again!!

Thank you for an amazing time yesterday. My friends and family called this the most memorable event they have been to in a very long time. I know you have some repeat customers in your mist. I would like to thank you, kevin and everyone who helped to put together this amazing great gatsby event. We will sure be back again soon to enjoy and relax. I will say those chocolate martinis and the old fashions were a favorite. Everyone loved the triva and learned so much new things. Learning about the building was top on their lists. The food was so yum!!!!!! Also those pickles, I will be coming back for some. I wanted to take the time and say i truly appreciate everything and you all made my birthday so special.

My husband and I wandered in and ended up doing the Spirits tasting. Not only was it good, educating, and a great way to unwind, but Mr. Flanigan had us laughing the WHOLE time! Great place, lots of fun!P.S. we tried coming back before we had to leave for our travels, but it ended up being closed. Till we meet again :)
