I had to put off vet visits because I was out of work, so when my cat developed an urgent issue, I was a bit embarrassed about not having brought him in sooner. “Dr. Shaffer and her staff have taken care of my pups since 2020 when I moved to TX from CA (Don't hate me, I'm a refugee not a missionary). They have been caring and professional. Dr. Shaffer has been wonderful working with my 16 year old pup, Chili Dog (Black & White), to keep him happy and healthy. She helped me with my 16 year old Guster Buster (2nd pic) until Sept 2023 when he told me it was his time to go. She is compassionate and kind. She and her staff are also very patient with my poor damaged Louie Scamperini (3rd pic) who can be a bit unpredictable at times. He was a stray for the first few years of his life and sometimes forgets that he isn't anymore even now that he has been a house dog for almost 10 years! I don't know what possessed me but now I have another rescue, Nacho (4th pic), who is estimated to be 2 years old and I'm sure they will be taking care of him for years to come. I would recommend Dr. Shaffer and her staff to anyone!”

“Did a virtual tour of this location to share with my pet parent followers on YouTube. They do microchipping at TCAP to help track your pet if it gets lost. One of the staff told me that they also have a virtual tour on the website.
If you have a smaller animal I highly suggest bringing it in a kennel or carrier so that it or they can be sheltered away from bigger dogs that might be reactive to them.
Friendly, helpful staff. Professional and efficient work to get the many animals in the community vaxxed, chipped, and tested.”

“I can’t say enough good things about the team at Ridglea West. Our dog was bitten 4 times by a venomous snake, but survived due to their care. First, at our dog’s annual check-up when he received his rattlesnake booster, Dr. Verwers had the foresight to offer us a shot of antihistamine, antibiotic, and steroid to have on hand in case of any venomous snake bite. He also picked up my call when I called him on a Sunday afternoon and gave further instructions. Throughout his treatment they kept us well informed and encouraged us to spend time with him. I appreciate that they were upfront about the cost of treatment. After a few days in hospital with them, our dog is now home and doing well. I’m confidant caring for him as Tori’s instructions were clear, and know that I can call them if any concerns arise.”
“Our rescue kitten needed vaccines and neuter in a hurry. They got him in, took care of everything he needed and got him back to us safe and sound! I forgot many of the post surgery instructions, called a few days later and they were the nicest explaining everything! I didn't feel rushed or silly and all questions and concerns were addressed. Even the ones I didn't know I had! I highly recommend them and I will be taking my other rescue kitten there for services! Go Banfield!”

“I absolutely love this clinic! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with the care of our fur babies.
We have been coming here for 4 almost 5 years. They have taken care of our fruit basket (dogs) plus our foster pups! The front desk and techs are just so sweet and they take the extra time to care and get to know our pets and their quirks. They are super easy to get an appointment and are quick for pain med and trazadone refills.
Dr. Minnerly is also so great. He is thorough in his testing and does what is best for the pet. He also prints out educational information for the us so we can better understand that condition or issue our pet currently has.
They have fair and reasonable pricing as well. Compared to other clinics they are on the lower end for services (especially surgery).
I tripped and fell one day after picking up our cat and they were so nice and drove me to the urgent care and held onto our cat for the night due to not being able to transport her.
Also this is beside the point but they sell some amazing smelling candles.”
“We moved to Aledo 5 years ago and never really had a specific vet we considered OUR vet for our fur family. We just went to places that were convenient. Thankfully, that changed when we went to Vista Animal Hospital with Dr. Hampton. He is so kind and thorough with each visit, as well as his staff! Dr. Hampton was there through our dog’s declining health and eventual passing. It was very sad for us. Dr. Hampton and his team were so compassionate and patient through the process. His office sent us a card later expressing their condolences. We are very thankful for that!
Now, Dr. Hampton is the vet to the newest member of our family, and I am confident he is in great hands!”

“Dr. Gumfory has been our family vet for many years. I worked in vet medicine for around 10 years (many years ago) and he's the best vet I've ever met. He is thorough, experienced obviously, conservative and logical about next steps in diagnostics. Many vets that arent as skilled and experienced often will rely on expensive diagnostic, sometimes invasive tests rather just good old fashioned sense and han using tbHe will have very well thought out treatment plans and be considerate of costs /age of pet, etc. while offering a range of options. He also has incredible bedside manor and is the sweetest guy. We love him so much.Dr. Wallace is new to us, but our dog William was attacked and in bad shape T an ER vet. I felt uncomfortable with their treatment recommendations and didn't feel confident in their abilities at all. Westcreek got us in, helped assess William, and dr Wallace was incredible. She came and checked on William while we were seeing Dr. Gumfory to see how he was doing. She called and also listened to my concerns that he needed more sedatives in order to rest and called in meds.Don't go anywhere else. This is the best place, with the best care. I'll never go anywhere else”

She also kept her at the clinic one morning for observation and the staff has called a couple of times to check on her.
