I love that there’s a variety from super high quality, valuable pieces to fun affordable items full of nostalgia. There really is something for everyone! Val herself is probably the best treasure of all. She knows the story behind everything she sells, and she wants to know your stories as well. I chatted with who I assume is one of the owners, she was telling me the story of their business and how it has been family owned and operated for 80 years. While chatting she noticed that I was wearing a ring (not purchased here) and offered to clean it for me for free! The battery replacement price was very fair and super fast. “This jeweler is a little "gem" located within the Benbrook Antique Mall. He was able to fix my ten year old Seiko Eco-Drive watch for a reasonable price and explained to me that while Eco-Drive watches technically do not have batteries, they DO have capicators that last an average of ten years and have to be replaced...like a battery, but way more expensive. (Seiko, you are misleading consumers, but that is a completely separate issue. Lol!) This jeweler also sells new and retro jewelry, which he keeps sparkling CLEAN! It was fun to browse while dropping off my watch, and being able to look around at the AMAZING antique store was just a bonus!”
