This clinic was recommended to me by someone. Since it's closer to my home than my other vet. I thought I would give it a go to say it was a disappointment is putting it mildly. I took my female rescue there for spaying. I arrived on time and checked in without problems. She did growl once but never snapped or attempted to bite nothing unusual. I chalked it up to just a new environment. Before I left, the staff member told me that because she growled, she would be muzzled. When I put her in the holding kennel, I offered to muzzle her before I left, and they declined. She was not acting out in any way during the time I put her in the kennel. Well, I am home 2 hours when I get a text stating. She's uncontrollable they can't put hands on her, and the doctor wants me to come get her because the doctors schedule is too hectic to deal with her. In fact, the doctor says she needs to go to a clinic with a team of doctors so they can handle her. She's a 20-pound dog who has never given me ,childern, or the neighbors a problem. So I immediately rushed to pick her up. What do I find. Well, she's sitting quietly in a Kennel, not 10 feet from the staff who were talking away. I walked over and opened the Kennel. No problem put her leash on she walked right past the staff and front desk, not a peep out of her. So I put her in the car and she slept all the way home. In forty plus years of raising and owning dogs, I've never had such a bizarre thing happen. I drove 90 miles total in hopes of having a vet closer to home for my other dogs. It has been brought to my attention that Dr.Bowers is a senior age veterinarian with health issues and can be selective of her daily work schedule after arriving for the day. Had I known this beforehand, I never would've wasted my time going there nor put my dog through the experience.

Brought my 8 year old rat terrier in to see Dr. Bowers. He has pretty severe vet anxiety. The ladies there handled him with great care, loved on him, gave him a little time & attention so he would trust them. He didn't scream or panic! Big win. I was very impressed with the kindness, gentleness & care the staff presented. He also enjoyed his treat at the end for being such a good boy. So happy we found a great Vet!

Dr. Bowers has cared for all of our dogs since 2015 and we have always been happy with the care that they have received. She is caring and I feel like she always treats them the way she would treat her own pet.
