I came in for just a light trim. 1/4 inch off.The person cut off over an inch a put layers in my Hair!before this hack job, my hair was all one length.very disappointed.

I took my three boys in for haircuts this evening and I had my service dog with me. As soon as I walked in the door, an older African American lady with shoulder length hair who later identified herself as Amy Green, yelled at me and said that dogs aren’t allowed in the salon. I politely let her know that my dog is a service animal, but she then stated that it didn’t matter and that I needed to get her out. I then continued by politely informing her that it is against American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) state and federal laws to not allow my service animal to remain with me while my children got their hair cut.She then got quiet and stopped talking until my youngest son was called to the chair by another stylist and i went over with my service dog to make sure she knew how we wanted it cut. Amy Green was cutting another customer’s hair and proceeded to tell me that I needed to take my dog back over to the waiting area because she doesn’t like dogs.My Cousin who is a Military Veteran had been with me, but ran into HEB to grab a few things and soon joined me with her two service dogs. Amy Green began yelling at my cousin as well telling her to get her dogs out of the salon. Another customer soon joined in and they both began berating my cousin and I stating that we didn’t need our service animals and that it was all a joke. At one point, Amy Green stated that she knows for a fact that our dogs are too stupid to be service animals. She then kept encouraging my cousin to call the police as if to taunt her. The other two stylists in the salon who later identified themselves as Teenisha and Terry were very helpful and very much attempted to keep the peace.After being berated in front of my young children, my cousin then contacted the Bellmead police Dept. to be able to make a statement so that we can make a report to ADA.My family has been going to this establishment for a few years now and I wish that I could say that this was the first time something like this has happened, but unfortunately I cannot. There are some good people that work at this salon, but today my family witnessed a terrible side of humanity.I was able to speak with the general manager who was very understanding and stated that she plans to talk to Amy Green because what she said and did was unacceptable behavior. She also stated that she plans to talk to the owner and hopes to offer me some complimentary hair cuts.That all sounds great, but I’m honestly terrified to take my family back.

Quick and professional during a busy time. A great idea is to check in prior to your arrival. I arrived and was first in line ahead if 4 others who didn’t check in prior to arrival. The haircut looks great and I’ll definitely return next month!

I have been coming here for the past 2 years now to get my hair cut by Miss Vickie. She greets everyone who walks in. She wants to make sure I am satisfied with my haircut and she is quick and efficient. I was a bit skeptical getting my haircut again because of a couple bad experiences, but she has rebuilt my trust! A good haircut is something that can truly make a person feel better and more confident.
