Yesterday I had a pleasant experience at the post office on Bellaire . I went in to do my passport, and it was an easy ordeal. The guy who helped me with a black guy can’t remember his name, but he was really funny, personable and excited to help me, I would recommend the Belair location to do your passport you could even take your picture there and the cost wasn’t that much $180 is nothing.

Old gentlemen who assisted me was nice (he looked asian/hispanic) I came in around 2:24 and was out by 2:30. I was surprised that they werent rude as my local USPS location on westchase are always rude. I will be coming here in the future, I dont mind the drive for better service

my appointment was 10:30 and I arrived 10:00 and spent 10 minutes in line and the rude white lady customer server told me that I have 5 minutes to fill application or I have to reschedule appointment because each customer has 15 minutes which means she refused to take my application after 10:15 and reject before my actual appointment time start at 10:30. so I had time until 10:45 but she unjustified me.

People really do come on here to complain for no good reason. This is an excellent post office. Staff are friendly. But the real best part is the self service label machine. Not many post offices have these, and it is GREAT.

Bad experience, the man who helped me told me stupid, just because I was wrong, I had to say no and I pressed yes

I am only giving this two stars because the manager was nice and made me feel seen. The one star is due to the experience of getting told to call the general USPS number to file a claim after explaining that a package that should have made it to usps from a fedex shipsite did not. Until a package is “received” by USPS you can’t file a claim online or on the phone. I was fed up with the automated voices before it told me that I could not file a claim yet.

They were busy, but they had multiple postal workers so the wait time was acceptable.

The reviews for this place, like every post office, are extremely divisive on experiences. To my pleasure, it was a great place and experience. I was discouraged at first seeing a long line of people. However, I was in and out within 5 minutes. Everyone seemed happy to actually be working there. All the other customers in line seemed happy with the smooth process of everything. To anyone trying to do a passport appointment, I'd strongly encourage making an appointment. I wouldn't trust any walk in appointment to any post office.

I went into the post office and I was grabbing an envelope to ship off a key. An employee with an accent (asian accent) asked what I was attempting to do so I told him. He instructed me to grab a specific brown envelope with bubble wrap lining it. When I get to the service desk, Jackson, tells me I grabbed the wrong envelope and I need to pay for both since I wrote on the envelope. I explained what happened and that it was not my fault. He calls over a female employee, Ross Williams and I explain what occurred. Ms Ross Williams then humiliates me by asking out loud how much could it possibly be, with an audience behind us. Jackson replies $1.99. I then proceed to tell her if she is going to embarrass/shame me I would pay. I left that place feeling so embarrassed. I know they are union workers and nothing will happen but I needed to let the people know to stay away. This place seems to be racist towards Hispanics and caucasians.
