“When you are shopping for a wedding dress and do not want to break the bank, Bells and the Ball Wedding and Special Occasion Consignment is it honey!!! Wonderful selection, designer gowns, and the personalized service was priceless. #houstonbridalshop”
“Awesome store with great customer service, an incredible selection, and amazing ambience (music+mini arcade+ice cream). If you like cool jackets this is the store for you!!”
“What a cool and interesting place full of vintage fare.
There was a lot to look at and appreciate, and I highly recommend checking out My Flaming Heart.”
“Excellent service and selection; especially N scale! Doug was super friendly and extremely helpful! Highly recommend! The gentleman behind the counter did put off a bit of the curmudgeon vibe, but don't let that deter you! (He might have been a little gruff because we came in at the last minute and stayed past closing!)I think the majority of negative reviews are from disgruntled parents of very small children who assume this is like a generalized toy store. It's a specialty shop with lots of small, delicate and often quite expensive items. Some kiddos are good in that scenario, but many may be too young to appreciate the environment.”
“The only place I ever need to thrift and consign in Houston! The staff give off a friendly, small town feel despite being in the middle of Houston, and I never cease to find pieces for casual attire or workwear when I visit. I come once per month, and it has helped refresh and revitalize my wardrobe. This place is always my top recommendation for any working professional men who are looking for a sustainable way to improve or maintain their wardrobe”
“Wonderlikewander is a great place for events. It's also a good place to look at art, photographers, music and great food. It's also a great place to make friends. This store has been open ever since 2021 and Ruby Amare is the owner of the store. Ruby is a great person. We all hope to see as many people as possible to come to this store. It will be a great experience for everyone.”
“Great experience! Rakim helped me out with my first ever purchase after I had been visiting the store for some time. Very friendly and helpful. Would recommend anyone interested in fashion and culture to pay a visit!”
“Got the most beautiful Gucci shoes! More than you can imagine has so many gorgeous one of a kind things to choose from. The girls were a huge help pulling my outfit together for my upcoming event!”
“I had such an amazing time here. The clothes are all so amazing and perfectly curated. I would recommend this place to anybody, I WILL be bringing friends here soon! ???”
“I went there to pick up an Amazon package, but was pleasantly surprised. The unusual art items in this store were great... Some of which I plan on returning to purchase. A few are a little pricey, but they are one of a kind pieces done by local artists!”
“I was visiting from Kentucky and I love thrift stores. This store was very impressive. Super clean, organized, stick full of great items and friendly staff. I am going back again before I leave town and will be back everytime I'm in Houston. Love this store.”
“I never expected a Consignment/Resale store to have high end designer brands. But I found this Roche Bobois sofa and chaise at an amazing price. My entire living room is from Alabama Furniture, and I will definitely shop there again.”
“This is a cute, vintage apparel store on Emancipation. There are lots of windows and super high ceilings so it's bright and airy. There are mostly t-shirts but also some sports wear and denim. I love the old-school albums along the wall.”
“Good experiences and bargains here. I've shopped here for many years. It's the "GUILD SHOP" that is unpleasant, rude and create unnecessary inconveniences for mothers with nonwalking children in strollers. Don't get the 2 places MIXED up when you're reviewing like I did. The CHARITY GUILD Shop is awesome. The GUILD SHOP not so much.”
“I've been coming here for years and plan on coming back real soon....I LOVE THIS BLAST FROM THE PAST SHOP!!!!I wanted to post a picture but I'm not sure how to do it?♀️”
“One of my favorite thrift stores in Houston I can always find something cute and the staff is friendly and welcoming! Lots of Y2k clothes and jewelry! Buy Sell Trade Clothes! ❤️”
“Best resale off Westheimer. I've been shopping here for over 15 years and never have I ever been disappointed. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. The sales staff are friendly and helpful. The manager is awesome!!!! The selections are for women. All sizes, name brands and good quality clothing , shoes, belts, hats, scarfs and more. Prices are from a $1 and up. I'd say very respectable for the quality and selections. I totally recommend this store to anyone looking to spend less $ and look like a million bucks!!”
“Love this store! Truly authentic gear, chill aesthetic, and awesome team running the place. Don’t show up as soon as they open lol other than that you will be fine”
“This is the best resale furniture store in Houston TX! I have bought furniture from this place numerous times. I love this place! I recommend this store to anyone who loves antique beautiful furniture :) Thanks to Devin he made the credit approval process easy.”
“I found WHAM while driving to the GW on the I-10. I've been there twice now, and found some interesting items. Their prices are fair and they have a constant rotation of goods and 50% off sales on different categories. Cashier and staff are very nice. The only thing I wish they'd do was open a dressing room, since you can't try on clothes and all sales are final. However, for $4 for a shirt or sweater or pants, you can't really complain too much. Their clothing does seem rather boutique and you can find some brand name clothes for a steal. They have a large selection of books ($1.50-$3) and smaller selection of CDs ($1.50), DVDs, and some games. You can also donate and feel like you know where the money is going.”
“This was the fourth thrift/consignment store I went to looking to furnish my condo. After the disorganized albeit well-intentioned chaos of the first three places, I loved The Bluebird Circle. It is a curated experience with room settings to display the furniture, art, rugs- everything. I found an amazing set of chairs, a glass coffee table, a beautiful lamp. The mostly volunteer staff were incredibly helpful. and it’s a great cause, with proceeds supporting the Texas Children’s Hospital.”
“? This store is located near Downtown Houston, on the Washington Corridor.
? The store has a variety of items for sale ranging from furniture, home goods, a few appliances, clothes, and other items/trinkets.
? The employees are always polite.
? The collections department will accept almost any item you want to donate. Plus, they will write you a receipt.”
“Really liked this store but some of the prices are really high for stained “vintage” clothing. They do have a sale area and a $1 pile though! This store is definitely worth checking out Atleast! Friendly staff.”
“The best vintage store in the Houston area. Doesn’t get much better than this. Customer service and employees are very genuine and good people. Always have a good selection of clothes, don’t believe Ive ever walked out empty handed. Raxx is for the people.”
“Great people in addition they have a great store and product. I’d you live in the area you are so lucky and I’d you don’t, I promise it is worth the drive. A must in Houston ~ Swag”
“I purched 2 excellent quality recliners by lazy-boy & Kravet furniture upholstery. I also found the perfect table to place between them. Being that the chairs are antique recliners from the 70's, I've decided to go with a retro theme in my living area. Shag rug and lave lamps, with a couple bean bags. I'm mounting a projector and installing a projector and surround sound. I can't wait for 70's themed movie parties!!! I love my new chairs! Such a great quality, for a very reasonable cost.”
“I quickly stepped inside this very cute shop because a man on the street was trying flag me down.I explained and they nodded and said no problem. While inside I took a look around. The shop is super open and clean, very well organized, and the employees are super kind.”
“Amazing Grace Charities is a fabulous boutique with wonderful people who run it. They donated 2 large frames and a wonderful box of trinkets for a few art pieces I’m working on.”
