My medical provider's Quest lab person provided instructions and kit on producing specimens to drop off at "any" Quest lab for processing. Because the Bellaire location was convenient, I chose to go there. Big mistake! Having had no experience at Quest facilities, I was unaware of their computer check-in. Figuring that out, posting driver's ID and insurance, I waited and waited until a technician appeared ( to call in someone else). She advised me as a "walk-in" that I was low priority and should have previously made an appointment! An appointment to drop off a specimen? I did not need any medical services and was only dropping off a kit. BTW, one was actually frozen and after waiting a very long time, I suspected it was thawing! Once back home, I checked online reviews of that lab. Most reviews were 2 stars or less, which would have alerted me to avoid it. My provider nor his in-office lab tech advised me that prior appointments were necessary!

I will never go to this location again. They spray Lysol while you are checking in so you are forced to breathe it. When I asked her to stop she refused and when I asked the phlebotomist if I could request they stop spraying Lysol I was told “no you may not”. Disrespectful, dismissive, and condescending. I am almost 70 years old and expect thoughtfulness and courtesy. In fact, thoughtfulness and courtesy should be given to everyone. They don’t care at this location.

Do not go here. Slow, extremely short staffed (one person working) unorganized, and waiting room is hot and stuffy. I understand waiting longer if I'm a walk in vs. having an appointment, but all I was doing was dropping off a sample that I already had ready. Waited for 40 min and just left. My number came and went t on the TV monitor and nobody would help me. Save your time and sanity and go somewhere else. Saw multiple people in front of me waiting 1hr± even with appointments.

The most unpleasant encounter I had in a laboratory involved an hour-long wait with no one available to assist. A lady, displaying rude behavior and an unpleasant attitude, discouraged us from proceeding with the test due to her discourteous conduct.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I showed up a couple minutes late to my 440pm appointment and they refused me.They said I had too much blood to be drawn and they were already packing up. They close at 5pm. I won’t be coming back here and I would not recommend it. They don’t do their jobs.

Please ignore the bad reviews; make an appointment and have your id and insurance card ready and you’ll have a great experience! My appointment at Quest was super easy and I barely felt the needle. Angel was professional, efficient, and kind. I was in and out in 30 minutes and will definitely make this my go-to from now on!

They need to fix there wait time cause this is ridiculous we been waiting for hours the employees take over 30 minutes just to draw one person blood quest diagnostics lab need to hire better employees and better customer services nobody at the front to talk the customers to check in or nothing they need to get it together there should be no reason why it’s taking this long to get blood draw I ain’t ever coming to quest diagnostics ever again and the thing is it’s all of the places not just it all of them they need to get together and hire better employees and I’ll say this never again

Kelly and Angel were very sweet. I came in almost at closing,but they still took me in. Angel was very reassuring when I got nervous and Kelly kept a smile on my face. Thank you ladies.

I had an appointment recently on May 4th, and the check-in process was easy and quick. My phlebotomist was a light-skinned black woman, and she was helpful and friendly. I barely felt the needle stick when they took my blood. The day that I went, the staff was friendly, my visit was quick, parking was easily available, and I had a good experience.

Very unprofessional facility. I was a walk-in because the other facility was closed permanently. After waiting for over 2 hours with mostly no one on the waiting tooI asked if there was any hope of being scene and the gentleman told me “I really can’t say”. “I just work here”. I gave up and made an appointment at another facility in hopes that they are professional and run a better operation. I also called the main number to tell about my experience and after 6 phone transfers I reached the corporate customer advocacy group but it was just a voicemail address. I would avoid this location!

My doctor told me to walk into any Quest to draw blood. I came here, near to me. I was told I had to wait on standby because I did not have an appointment. Every time a person walked in I was pushed back. After an hour my husband came in and started to criticize the staff for their policy and wait times. They finally took me and I was done at 9:17.I looked up their reviews and they had 2.4 out of 5 stars. Many different kinds of problems. Just read them but don’t ever come to this location. They have the worst service anywhere.

I understand the on-line appointment changes these guys have switched to and especially the need for I.D. and current insurance proof, but to refuse to start a new test till a past due bill of $15 is paid in full seems a little extreme .. Business is business, so once again i get it, but refuse to take payment in cash and requiring credit card only transactions is a little over the top. No other option offered and refused service. What a joke

Went in without appointment, staff explained the on-call waiting. Luckily I only had to wait 40 minutes. Staff were kind. They have hand sanitizer & masks available if you need.

Really poor service at this location. They kept giving preference to walk in people over someone with an appointment even though we, who had an appointment came before the walk in people !!
