Took a very long time to get my receipt emailed to me but other than that they did a great job. Quoted under all the other moving companies and guaranteed a quicker move as well. Nothing broken! Guys who moved my stuff out were SO nice and amazing, the guys who moved me in were a little shady and asked me to pay in cash (but I had already paid by credit card). I'd use again. Also, sounds like the receipt delay was due to Covid / system issues. A very nice employee (Selene) followed up for me a few times and gave me her personal and email and cell. Thanks Selene!

Not sure if they just didn't want my business or the guy was trolling me, but they quoted me a cost of $13,400 to move my 30'x10' storage unit from Houston to Dallas. Other companies were quoting me $1,500-$2,000. I had to double check that I didn't call the wrong number and that I heard the quote correctly. Needless to say, I'll be going elsewhere.

We used EMS movers on a weekend to load the pod. They showed up on time. They did a great job carefully wrapping all our belongings. We had forgotten to mention that we would need packing assistance but they handled all our last minute requests professionally. We liked their customer service very much.

These guys are excellent; personable, honest, straight shooters, thorough, efficient, and respectful of your belongings. They prepped everything for a long distance move, packed some of the most breakable items, and packed it all into a POD. Everything arrived cross-country in the POD without any damage whatsoever. The guys are very detailed upfront, provided me with options, answered all my questions, generated an appropriate estimate. They made the move so easy, I felt very confident everything would work out and it did. Absolutely recommend, so impressed with how they handled the move!

In order to move out of Chicago, you will more than likely have to move your belongings twice, once into a shuttle truck (the result of being a city dweller where large trucks cannot access) and then again into the vehicle that transports your belongings to another state. I was unable to hire a full moving company (insanely expensive) so I went with a UPack Trailer. They suggested EMS moving to help me load my belongings into the trailer. I have to Say EMS went above and beyond expectations. I packed my boxes, but they wrapped and protected my furniture and played truck tetris with my belongings twice! They moved unbelievably fast, they packed the UPack Trailer very tight which is required for such a move. They were kind, on time and they listened. True artists with packing tape I must say! In the end my belongings made it relatively unscathed to their new home. A few mis-packs but in the end, very minor issues. I was very grateful. Thank you.

Finding a mover is a crap shoot. You call one and it goes to voice mail. You call another and your information is taken and your told someone will call you back. This can be repeated multiple times! I actually spoke with Dave and we were able to schedule my request for a move for the next day. His crew, Dale and Missie, met me at the storage facility at the time we agreed upon, loaded up the truck, drove to my home, unloaded and finished the job in 2 hrs. They were courteous and professional and pleasant to work with. The quote was very fair and I feel it was appropriate for what I needed to be moved.

Here we go again :). Love these guys! Due to medical issues, I'm moving in with my significant other (knee replacement). I truly was not planning on moving but that's life. EMS to the rescue again. Spoke to Chris and all is good. March 29!!!!!!! I am a repeat customer. Would not recommend any other moving company.

From start to finish, EMS was fantastic...could not have been better. Brian in the office was great with the pre-move discussion/logistics. Chris and the crew (Alex, Cesar, and "Mijo") were awesome on the day of the move. Chris called the day before the move to discuss and finalize the logistics. The guys were on time, professional, and super efficient. They were a super team. Our move was scheduled for 4 stops and we even found time to swing by the Salvation Army to donate some extra belongings. The crew even got major kudos from the doorman (15 years at this building) at one stop for their work/efficiency/professionalism. At the final stop, everything went smoothly with no damage to belongings or freshly painted home....even with having to lift several big pieces up thru a 2nd level patio. All of this and under the estimated budget by about half. We could not be happier!!!

I sort of think this company is a rip-off. I didn't appreciate being charged for them to drive back to their location. Sorry thats the cost of doing business. You don't see cab drivers charging you fees for them to get home at night. They charged me the high end of the quote even tho I ended up having less furniture and items to be moved than we originally discussed. I tried to save money by having them do a partial move, and I had friends help me move the rest. I also padded, shrink wrapped, and taped all my stuff so they wouldn't have to, but they did anyway on top of what I had done, and charged me for the materials. I really should have went with a different company and paid them to do a full move, would have been about the same cost wise, and way less hassle for me. I still gave the moving guys a tip because they did a decent job. But I wasn't a huge fan of the guy in charge. Won't be using this company again.

On Wednesday Sept. 6, I hired EMS to help me move. I had never hired a moving company before, and I was a bit nervous about it. They arrived on time, they were very organized, and worked quickly and efficiently at each stop during my move. They were very respectful of my home and belongings at each stage of the move. Best of all however, was that Tim's team, was polite, friendly and positively fantastic to work with. The icing on the cake? My bill came in UNDER our initial quote. Thank you EMS and Tim for making my first "mover" experience a fantastic one. You will certainly be my "go-to" moving company, and I am happy to recommend you to anyone I know in need of moving services. :)

I wish I could give these guys six stars. EMS Movers was so great to work with throughout our move from Oregon. Super communicative during the moving process and also just friendly and pleasant! When our stuff arrived in town earlier than expected, they were flexible enough to move up our delivery date to--get this--before we even arrived. (Our landlord let them in the apartment.) The move was right before Thanksgiving, too! All in all, they made a stressful cross-country move a little less so, and we're grateful!

This is the second time EMS has moved my husband and I, that should speak volumes! Brain was incredibly prompt and professional prior to the move. Chris and his team are who actually moved us! Everyone was incredibly polite and efficient! I can't believe how quickly they had us moved and what caution they took when handling our belongs. At 26 wks pregnant I couldn't be more grateful for the stress they took off our shoulders! Would use them again in a heart beat!
