Horrible pharmacy! I wish I could leave no stars! The unfortunate thing is that with my insurance I am required to use Walgreens for my 90 day scripts. Today my wife picked up several prescriptions for me and paid $176.13 for a generic script. She asked if it was ran through insurance and was told it was and a coupon was also used due to the cost. This was not the case as they never ran it through my insurance so nothing was applied. When I called to ask about the price I was informed it could be brought back but had to be in the next ten minutes to void and then run through insurance. Well the issue is that my wife couldn’t return in the ten minute time frame. Poor customer service! Even using Good RX the cost would only be $35.00. My insurance cost would have been $20.00 if they had actually applied it. So tired of bad customer service and incompetence!

This is literally the worst pharmacy customer service I have ever had. I have tried several times and not one good experience not one time

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. And I travel to dozens of pharmacies in the Austin area. Glibly slow and unproductive. This is my hell waiting here for them to not have anything ready for urgent hospice needs. I am embarrassed and ashamed for the staff.

Be prepared to wait minimum 20 mins for someone to answer the phone in the pharmacy. The staff is overwhelmed and in turn rude and hard to deal with.

The pharmacy staff are excellent. However, the remained of the store is less than stellar. Prices are not reasonable unless you are enrolled in the discount program. I have had issues with photo quality and there can be long lines with only one employee checking out.

Truly the rudest and most incompetent people I've ever met. They could care less about your lifesaving medicine or your feelings. These people are useless.

Scheduled a C19 test for this location, showed up and they looked at me like they had never heard of COVID and said “we don’t have tests available here.” I asked why they let me schedule an appointment or not notify my before I came all the way over to get the test and the gal working in the pharmacy just stared at me. Maybe it’s not the local worker’s responsibility to make sure people know that they aren’t going to be able to get their tests, but maybe reviews will shine a light to Walgreens ops.

I drive twice as far to visit this Walgreens vs a competitor. I’ve been using them for a couple years. The pharmacy is fast polite and thorough. I submit refills online and receive text updates. Super easy.

Probably the worst thing about this location is the manager.I've been here quite a few times, and the manager is either outside smoking a cigarette watching vids on his phone or is in the back. He is never friendly and always looks irritated that he had to go up front at all. I'm pretty forgiving of attitude because I know retail can take the nice right out of you, especially if you deal with certain types of customers a lot. And I know I could never maintain my nice as a manager in retail. But a simple small smile and "thanks" wouldn't hurt, rather than a constant put-upon look and vibe.I don't know if he's just so overworked that he doesn't care, if has to deal with those types of customers so much he's lost his give-a-ish, or if it's just a paycheck for him and there is no one else they can hire.Anyway, if Walgreens can't give enough support that the manager can at least manage a small smile, or thanks, or have a nice night, then maybe they need to let someone else take over.

Awful service from pharmacist Athena and tech Samantha! Even though they are In Network with GoodRX and we had a legit prescription and coupon, they made excuses of why they couldn't honor it. Therefore, we had to pay double what we should have paid for the prescription. Won't be back again and you shouldn't either, unless you want to pay higher prices for your RX for no reason. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.

Twice they screwed me. I set up an appointment for my son's second COVID vaccination last week and received appointment reminders and confirmations until the actual day of the appointment. Then I got a confirmation followed by a cancellation text and email. No explanation. Just a number to call and reschedule. I set up another one for today and again, received confirmation reminders and emails until this morning, when I again received a cancellation text and email without any explanation. I called the Walgreens and after a 10 minute hold, was told that the vaccination doses were not received today. They were supposed to come in from their South Austin location. I rearranged schedules on 2 different days based on the information that this Walgreens had the needed vaccination doses for my son. Both times, the appointments were cancelled same day with no explanation. Only to find out that it was a problem within the Walgreens system that was passed on to their customers. I don't trust them any longer and they did not seem even concerned about their recurrent appointment cancellation. They are not partners in health care.

The worst pharmacy drive thru I have experienced. They never have enough staff , the waits are too long and don't let you know when they are out of meds then you have to wait for
