Only stopped here to use the restroom but the facilities were super clean! Was fully prepared for the standard smelly gas station. But TP was fully stocked, no weird odors, and even had an air freshener!!! Very much appreciated!

Super disappointed. I read about the food so as we were getting gas we decided to grab lunch. We grabbed 3 tacos, one coke zero, and an 18 pack of Topo Chico. The bill came out to $50! What was so expensive? The Topo was $35 and each taco was almost $5. We returned the Topo (a 12 pack at heb is $8) and he wouldn't put the refund back on our card so we were given cash back. The taco was a tortilla with meat. That's it. I mean the seasoned meat was good but for $5 I would have liked a few onions, peppers, etc. Just disappointed with the blatant price gouging.

My boyfriend and I only tried this place because we wanted breakfast tacos and they were the only place open nearby but this place has THE BEST breakfast tacos I've ever had. They are so well seasoned with garlic and salt. I definitely recommend the migas and the potato egg and cheese

Stopped in for diesel fuel. Used pump 4, card reader wasn't working. Went inside and prepaid for fuel. Came back out and waited 10 minutes to get just 9 gallons of fuel. I went back in to let them know. After waiting for the clerk to quit texting or whatever he was doing on the phone, he looked I up at me and just shrugged his shoulders once he heard my complaint.

Love this place. Very under rated. $6 for an awesome fresh meal. Can't beat it. Great on the go food. I live 25 min away and my food is still super hot when I get home. I love the way they individually put their tacos in foil so they don't get all soggy. I wish someone would put up a pic of their menu.

I have to second Vanessa on the tacos here. They are seriously delicious. My boyfriend told me about this place because he used to stop by all the time when he was doing field work near Hamilton Pool. We've been back a couple of times on our way to HP, and I'm a monkey's uncle if these aren't the best gas station tacos you've ever had. There's a warmer with ready made tacos but it seems that they can also cook something to order. The green salsa is similar to the green stuff you get at Pollo Rico, so watch out. It'll burn your mouth. Definitely stop here on your way to Hamilton Pool.

This place is a little known gas station on the way out to the hill country of Austin. It looks like any other dinky gas station and I couldn't even tell you about the gasoline prices. I stumbled upon this place once when on the way to Horseshoe Bay there was a car accident and I was stuck in traffic and had to turn around to find a bathroom. I happened to see a big shiny display case full of tiny tacos all neatly stacked and rolled in silver tin foil in a warming case. They were all carefully labeled with a paper tape-typed up labels reading the following choices: potato egg & cheese, chorizo egg and cheese, migas, sausage egg and cheese and bacon egg potato and cheese. I carefully chose a bacon egg and cheese and picked up a hot sauce which was in a large bowl next to the taco display filled with ice. The "sauce" which is not salsa because it's green is the most amazing thing I've ever put in my mouth. You can choose between green and red, the red is more salsa-ish and the green is a lot like the "dona" green sauce you can get at Taco Deli. It's kind of a milky green tint, I'm not sure why but I'm guessing there must be avacado in it. I can go on and on for sentences about how amazing this sauce is but I won't. It's delicious though, and spicy. Most people can't handle very much of it, but I usually dump a whole container onto each taco. I know it sounds weird to go on and on about gas station tacos but these tacos are all so very delicious. I've gone as far as to buy several tacos and take them home and eat them later. I pull the tortilla apart from the eggs and heat them up sperately in a skillet on the stove and reconstruct them carefully back together as if they were worth a trillion dollars. Most of the tacos are less that $1.30. I have gotten at least three co-workers and my boyfriend addicted to these tacos. On a recent trip I realized the woman who makes these tacos makes them in the gasoline station behind a curtain where she has a make-shift kitchen. Meeting her was like meeting a celebrity. She speaks Spanish and in my best Spanish I let her know how much I love her tacos. I've driven out of my way to eat these tacos (about a 45 minute drive) on more than one occasion. She also makes breakfast sandwiches and tamales which I've never had but I happen to know are also a huge hit. She has recently started making "lunch tacos" carne guisada and chicken and beef fajitas. Tacos are made Monday- Saturday so don't show up on Sunday because you will be SOL. If you're an Austin foodie like me and like showing off to your friends about awesome new food spots that are "undergound" this is the place to go. I love this place so much and this place is sooo "underground" that I am the first person ever to write a review and I will actually take PICTURES next time I'm there of the tacos and the "Taco Babe" as I have just named her. Anyway, definitely worth the drive or the stop-and-see if you're ever in that area.
