This is one of our favorites for seafood but don't make it out regularly. We were celebrating my Dad's 84th. He's hard of hearing and my son has hearing aides which restaurant noise makes difficult to have conversation. They took this request into account and reserved us a quiet corner on a Saturday night. On top of that, we had the best service ever with Jazz who clearly takes pride in attentive, communicative, and responsive service. She let us take our time when asked and was right on it with drinks and other requests. She really took time with each person to get everything to their liking describing options, side requests, and anything noteworthy about the meal. Not only did we have an easy time talking with the 8 of us, everyone almost stopped talking when the meals arrived because the food was so good! There are excellent options for both fine dining and more casual meals and lots of choices for every taste bud. They also change up their specialty cocktails more often than most so there are chances to try something inventive and different often. Kudos to the whole team for a very lovely evening!

This is a very nice restaurant for a romantic evening of two or a family diner gathering of sharing. The servers are prompt, attentive, friendly and helpful. The manager may also politely visit your table to offer their gratitude of your visit. The food is excellent from top to bottom of the menu, any choice you make, has you thinking of your next visit and what to chose. The wide selection of wines will satisfy any pallet, and the signature cocktails are an enticing discovery each time. The ambiance is upscale, suitably quiet, and welcoming. Cafe Blue is one of our favorite restaurants, soon it could be one of your as well!

There were kids jumping on chairs when we arrived. Our waitress was attentive until we placed our order. After that she was not too be found. The scallops - which are priced at $48 - included 3 scallops - and one of them was inedible. To their credit, they didn't charge us for that dish. Overall the food was ok and the service was below what I expect for a restaurant that charges $30-$60 a plate.

Best Happy Hour around! It's hard to go anywhere else, with half-price wines by the glass, signature cocktails, beer, hot appetisers, and oysters (I may have missed something here). Excellent service, atmosphere, and food! There is easy parking as well.

We enjoyed a wondeful birthday dinner with friends. Ceviches and Thai coconut curry mussel appetizers, Caprese salad, small fillet, sesame crusted seared Ahi Tuna and scallops! All cooked to perfection. We will be back!

Connor was our server, and he was excellent. He came back to our table many times to check if we needed anything. The manager came to our table as well to see if everything was going for us. The woman who greeted us already had the table ready so we were seated immediately. The food was phenomenal, and I shared that information with him so he can inform the chefs. Connor also asked us whose birthday we were celebrating and gifted us a free creme brulee. My friend ordered the fried shrimp salad, and I got the fish Louisiane. All the food was scrumptious! This is why I frequent this restaurant.

We've been to Cafe Blue many times but mostly at dinner. This was our first experience with brunch. Everything they do well at dinner was equal to or better than at their brunch. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish and will most certainly go back. Cafe Blue has been a staple for my wife and I for a very long time and now we have one more reason to go.

I always order the ahi tuna and mango salad. The first one brought out was side salad sized. The waitress also looked confused. The second one brought out was covered in dressing, rather than on the side as I had requested. The third one brought out looked better but tasted nothing like it had in the past. The tuna had no flavor and the rest was very unsatisfying

Our waitperson, Destiny, provided excellent service. She was very attentive & responsive to our requests. She also was very knowledgeable about their oyster varieties & menu. We will definitely request Destiny on future visits. The ahi tuna dinner was delicious. The chicken strawberry salad was very good. The key lime pie is among the best in Austin.

They must have a new chef! The last couple times I went to Café Blu wasn't up to par to what it used to be. However, when I went this time, it was excellent and I would go back again for the very fresh fish perfectly prepared.

Usually a great experience but it was off yesterday. Service wasn't good as we had to keep asking for items and he didn't bring the right condiments with the meal. Usually much better

The mussels were to die for!!! The best mussels that my husband and I have ever experienced. The trout almondine was excellent. We truly look forward to our next visit. Our service was excellent. Jake, who was our waiter was superb. He went above and beyond to make our experience at Cafe Blue a most enjoyable evening.

We have been patrons of Cafe Blue for over 12 years. I ordered the beef tips appetizer & was very disappointed in the quality . Nothing like the years before. However the service by our server, Jazz, was exceptional as usual. We always request Jazz. Food was disappointing.
