**HCI Sports and Fitness, Bee Cave – A Review (4/5 Stars)**HCI Sports and Fitness in Bee Cave impresses on multiple fronts, making it a worthy destination for fitness enthusiasts and sports lovers alike. The facility stands out for its expansive size and remarkable cleanliness, an inviting environment for both newcomers and regular patrons. With a comprehensive array of sports courts and fields, an indoor track, and state-of-the-art fitness equipment, the complex is well-equipped to cater to diverse fitness routines and sports training needs.The staff at HCI Sports and Fitness deserves special mention for their warm and friendly demeanor, enhancing the overall experience of the members and visitors. This personal touch in customer service helps in creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that is often lacking in large fitness centers.However, the facility is not without its drawbacks. The locker rooms are surprisingly cramped, which is a notable discrepancy given the otherwise spacious nature of the complex. For a health club of its stature and monthly fee, the lack of amenities such as steam rooms, jacuzzis, or saunas in the locker rooms is a miss. These features are often standard in similar establishments and could significantly enhance the value provided to its members.Additionally, the decision to split the weight room between two separate areas seems to be an oversight. A unified, larger gym space would not only streamline the experience but also cater better to the needs of the fitness community that frequents the center. Consolidating the weight rooms could potentially improve both the functionality and the aesthetic appeal of the gym area.Lastly, the connection to the guest WiFi also failed, which shouldn’t happen at this caliber health club.In conclusion, while HCI Sports and Fitness offers a plethora of resources for sports and fitness activities, some strategic enhancements in facility planning could elevate the user experience significantly. With its current offerings and potential for improvement, it comfortably earns a commendable four out of five stars.

This is a great facility for people that want to use courts. I come here for the gym portion only, and I don’t feel like it’s worth the price. I’ve been keeping my membership because I have multiple friends that come here. As they are looking for other options, so am I.I have written multiple suggestions to management before writing this review. They’ve ignored me, so here we are.Multiple machines have been broken for a while, and they don’t have backups. In these instances, I am left unable to complete portions of my workout. If management would correct the issues, I would be fine. I find it unacceptable that I pay such a high fee every month just for inattentive management and unmaintained machines. Another thing to add, forget about going there Saturday morning. There is no parking space, gym extremely crowded and no machines to use!

I’ve been working out at HCI for 2 years. I used to love it when I joined. It wasn’t crowded, their equipment worked, they had plenty of classes at night, there were “saunas” in the shower, and the changing rooms had Dyson hair driers. Now they don’t have any of that.The leg press machine hasn’t worked properly for months, the leg extensions machine has been broken for weeks and they only have one machine of each. The treadmills are cheap quality and most of them are out of commission. The other day, I was running on one to find out that it wouldn’t slow down! You had to hit “cool down” or “stop” to reduce the speed! What an odd safety hazard.I have repeatedly notified management of these issues and nothing has been done. It has been months.To be clear, this gym is not cheap. I am paying a premium price for sub-par equipment and service.Unfortunately, this area lacks good gyms and I hope that someone reading this review would decide to open a very needed nice gym.Great facility and location, terrible management.

The gym has potential but poorly maintained. Tired of providing feedback about the broken equipments. No one listens to you. Very expensive for the service provided. I suggest you find other local alternative.

Poor customer service. Upon initiating the cancellation process, I was shocked to learn of HCI's 30-day policy, mandating an additional month's payment post-cancellation. When I expressed my confusion at this policy, the account services representative callously informed me that this information was supposedly conveyed to me six months prior upon signing up. However, this assertion contradicts my recollection of being assured that I was enrolling in a flexible month-to-month plan with no binding contract, affording me the liberty to discontinue my membership at any point. The apologetic tone adopted by the account service representative was disingenuous and insincere, lacking any genuine attempt to rectify the situation or address my concerns adequately. It is evident that this situation regarding the cancellation policy is a systematic flaw in HCI's customer service approach. How many patrons unwittingly acquiesce to this policy, paying for an additional 30 days of service they no longer utilize? This policy only favors HCI's financial interests while blatantly disregarding the needs and preferences of its clientele. HCI Sports Club must urgently reevaluate its business practices, prioritizing transparency, and consumer welfare. I implore HCI to reconsider its 30-day policy and adopt a more customer-centric approach, one that aligns with ethical standards and fosters a sense of trust and reliability among its patrons.

I cancelled my membership April '23 and they said I had to come in to sign a cancellation form. Living nearly an hour away, it was a PIA to say the least, but I made plans to meet friends for dinner afterwards. I went in, signed the form and went on my way. Fast forward 6 months, I see I am still being billed! I called HCI and they basically called me a liar. I did my part by coming in to sign the form (I told them to even check security cameras) but they failed to process on their end. And even after you cancel your membership, you have to pay another additional month, so just be aware!

Been going to this gym for years! I LOVE it. I am an avid weightlifter and this gym is fantastic and provides so much. I especially love the kid care for my 4 year old. He’s been coming with me for years and he loves going. It’s a very clean, well organized and managed gym full of everything you could need for fitness and fun.

I’ve been a member since this place opened. Haven’t gone for awhile but went back today. Scanned my fancy metal tag and went to place my things in a locker. Front desk called me over and said my membership was cancelled and my family plan was changed to a different “base” membership with of course the same cost- kids and wife go all the time. I explained my family plan was never changed and I’ve been a member since this place opened. The kid at the desk could care less and told me I could work out for “free” today- what an insult- I’ve paid over $10,,000 to this gym since inception and he acted like he was doing me a favor. Place sold out and is more interested in having Instagram models taking pictures acting like they are working out on equipment versus people who want to work out and train. Used to be a great family place now like everything else poor client service and care less attitude. This is the best part- I told him I am never coming back and I’ll ask my wife to cancel and he said do you want to sign the cancellation agreement- how can I sign an agreement to cancel a membership when I am not a member? what a joke.

Fantastic facility for the whole family! My kids love the basketball courts and football field…they come regularly to practice with friends. I love the classes, my husband loves the gym. Everything is clean, the staff are friendly, locker rooms are nice, and the cafe/sitting area is a lovely retreat. We’re so grateful to have HCI in our neck of the woods!
