Great gym with plenty of space. It has all the equipment you need for a complete workout. Whether you’re focusing on strength training or cardio, it’s fully equipped to meet your needs. Highly recommended!

BEWARE!!!! SHAME ON YOU GOLD'S GYM!!! Apparently if you move to a city/state that does not have a Golds Gym anywhere with in 100 miles, you HAVE to go in to the BEE CAVE location and cancel your membership. I moved, found out there are no Gold's here, so I called the corporate "855" number and was told they can not cancel on the corporate line I HAVE to go to the gym. I live 1,254 miles away, soooo that's not an option. I called the gym 4 times and the desk workers said they can cancel it, but a manager will have to call me. I NEVER received a call back June, July, August, but got a NASTY call and email saying I owe $120 in dues and late fees for a $19/month membership I have had for 11 years and attempted to cancel 4 times since I moved in June. In the letter they are threating to "CANCEL" my membership.. Well Gold's... PLEASE CANCEL IT. We are living in an economy of parasitic companies where businesses like Gold's thrive off this autopay and make it difficult to cancel. Again, SHAME ON YOU GOLD'S GYM.

Few people here wipe the equipment down after they use it and unlike other gyms it’s not encouraged at all by Golds at any level. Brought it up with management and it became clearer why few people wipe down: manager really didn’t seem to care. Other gyms have cleaning stations just a few steps away from all equipment. This place has cleaning stations scattered few and far between. “Look there’s one 45 feet over there. And there’s two more 35 feet away over there and there if you serpentine through the dense maze of 20 machines to get there and back.” Dude. Go back to your office and continue sending out resumes on LinkedIn. This might not be the job for you.
But. To be fair. The entitled rich people that work out here that can’t seem to clean up after themselves, really don’t sweat THAT much. So maybe Gold’s has a point in making this a low priority.
Otherwise a good gym.

I’ve been a loyal member of golds gym for a while now, but I have been extremely disappointed by their need to tack on unnecessary fees lately. It’s awful to ask somebody to pay $80 for a one month subscription , all because of a $50 annual fee. I simply do not understand why the clause exists, and why I cannot just pay the monthly fee of $30 or $40. I’m a student who comes home from college during the breaks, and it’s becoming increasingly unaffordable for me to continue going to this gym. This annual fee adding up to a total charge of $80 for one month is going to the reason I’m highly unlikely to be a golds gym customer again.

Good gym with a good amount of space and good rates. A pretty basic Gold’s with opportunities for upkeep, like painting in the stretching / mat area. Otherwise, nice people and good gym.

I just recently joined and I’m loving the experience so far. The weight room is huge with ample squat racks and bench presses and machines I’d never seen before. The staff is super friendly and Keaton the personal trainer I worked with is very knowledgeable (and jacked). I look forward to making gains here.

Love this gym! The staff is always friendly, Keaton and Leslie are great examples of the Gold’s Gym brand…Ben the GM great guy! Very approachable and friendly. Club is always clean no matter what time it is. Definitely visit this club if you are in the Austin area!

They sent me to collects after cancelling my account over a $25 "late fee" .... not over unpaid dues... a late fee they decided to tack on for a reason I still don't understand.

Just wanted to give a huge complement to Alexa. Not only is she super friendly and a pleasure to speak with, but she is also the most proactive and responsive manager I have interacted with since joining Gold’s back in 2003. She quickly resolved several issues that have occurred over the past few months and does an excellent job of keeping the gym clean and orderly. In addition, I would also like to say that Sarina is very pleasant and welcoming at the front desk.

Lots of equipment and cardio machines, staff is friendly and good parking with easy access to gym. Locker rooms are a bit dated and are adequately clean. Wish they had more water fountains but the one they have is centralized in gym.

5/5 simply because I’ve seen it all, having both worked at and been a member at multiple health clubs across the country.Affordable and not painfully crowded.Equipment selection and availability is just right for my needs. The gym is as clean as any other gym with similar amenities and given the volume of use. Locker rooms, gym floor, sauna and equipment all appeared in good order and there were plenty of stocked cleaning stations nearby.Thx, M Dunn

Staff is great, it’s always clean. But the gym etiquette among members is so sad. People do not wipe machines when they are done, they don’t put weights away. And it’s always always always over packed with people.
