So far I've had a bad experience with them. They sell extended warranties to an electronic store in Florida called BrandsMart. This company tends to outsource so when you call the number any rep who gets on the phone is very difficult to understand and they aren't very very adept at trying to handle your claim.

Tried to renew an extended warranty. They only do 1 year renewals and the price is ridiculous.

Two months three weeks into trying to get the engine repaired. Four engines have been sent to replace. None of them could be used for different reasons. One was for a standard car, one had a cracked block, one was striped and so on etc. Plus we had to pay the difference for the rental car. Now over $300 and the car is laying in pieces at the garage. No customer service, delays, no return calls ETC.

I purchased a warranty through First Guard for my used vehicle. I used it several times and had no issues. The only feedback I received from 1 auto shop was that this warranty used lower labor rates than normal - but that was a very pricey shop anyway. Otherwise, I never had one issue with using this warranty. It was for 5 years or 125,000 miles bought in 2018. Great experience for me.

Steer clear if your auto finance company tries to upsell you these guys. They won’t answer the phone, so you don’t have coverage pretty much. Also First Guard is another name they go under.

What a company. BUYER BEWARE. I don’t think they know what customer service means. The one thing they do very well is delay, delay, delay. Either the staff that work there have no responsibility or authority to make things happen, or they are so indoctrinated into the company priority of, string people along until they give up, or there’s no other option than to reimburse.I first contacted the company on October 23, 2023. After 21 phone calls and 39 emails, I was finally reassured my claim was being processed and I would be reimbursed for part of the repair expenses. I truly believe the only reason this happened was my suggestion of calling the local TV station, that has a crime reporter, who loves to support customers being taken advantage by deceptive companies. To my surprise, on February 21, 2024, 4 months after my first contact, I did receive the reimbursement check I had been promised two weeks earlier. It appears that the only thing the company responds to the the threat of public exposure.

Never got through to them…their voicemails go into black holes never to be seen or followed up on again OR their system cuts you off because their voicemail “is full.” I’m joining the hundreds of others who have left terrible Google reviews who wish there was a way to leave less than one star. Two words - STAY AWAY!!!Rohrich Mazda in Pittsburgh PA sold my family member and me this “Mazda Extended Confidence” policy without offering any other alternatives (although they apparently do sell policies from other companies). Another truly incredible fact is that when I called the dealership (note that the manufacturer’s name appears in the title of the policy), they said there was nothing they could do to help me contact anyone or get through since Warrentech is a “third party vendor.” As if that should matter!!!The person in the dealership’s finance department (who ironically sold us my new, top-of-the-line vehicle AND the policy in December 2019) admitted that although they still sell Warrentech administered warranties, they primarily choose to sell policies of another company since they know Warrentech is so difficult to contact and interact with. So, they sold us a very expensive policy (nearly $3,000) that ends up costing dealerships dearly too, as their frustrated staff members spend oceans of time calling the company dozens of times on behalf of confused and disgruntled customers submitting claims, and either leave endless voicemails or are cut off.Apparently, claims submitted can be put on ice for months before they are completely reviewed and approved, and the company (based in Texas) has a reputation for fighting payouts at every step of the agonizing process. One last word about Mazda - I went all the way up the food chain to Mazda North America - my calls were transferred many times, and no one in the company helped me resolve anything. My recommendation - buy from another car manufacturer!!! Also, don’t purchase any policy supported by any dealership, even if the manufacturer’s name appears in the title - don’t be a victim of their marketing tactics. They know you’re super excited about buying your new vehicle at the time, and this can be used against you…

We purchased a warranty through Amazon for our professional column refrigerator freezer unit. When they both stopped working the week of Christmas the warranty company Warrant Tech in Bedford TX insisted they can only repair the refrigerator and not the freezer. They were sold as one unit and the warranty was for an item over $3000. The unit was $3099. They refuse to repair the freezer! Hours were spent in conversion with these people. Warrant Tech is NOT WORTH ONE PENNY of your money nor one moment of your time.

One star is too gracious. An organization with the morals of Madoff or Epstein. A company that spews lie after lie to avoid paying claims. Trying to get anyone on the phone as a customer is so difficult, you have to act like a service provider in order to get a person on the phone. 3 months my claim has been going on, it’s been a month since my washer was deemed unrepairable, but I’m still waiting on a resolution. They’ve spent more trying to repair it than what it’s worth. When I asked for an address to send a demand letter, I was given multiple addresses by multiple people, meaning they instruct their people to mislead customers. I hope no large retail carrier chooses to work with them because their mission is to frustrate and mislead.

They are crooks ! They have to an absolute goal of not standing by the warranty purchased. They do not intend to fix your product and they use every way they can to prevent upholding the warranty. Why do you have to put a star to comment? They do not at all deserve a star !

They DO NOT honor their warranties. You have to file a lawsuit in order for them to take you seriously.

Absolutely the worst company on this planet. You pay for their warranty and all they do is bend you over in the end. They'll do everything in their power to not pay you out or give you a "comparable" item to what you bought. Escalated multiple times and never even got a call back from a supervisor or manager.Never buy a warranty from these THIEVES!!! No idea how this company is even in business. Hopefully the BBB will bury this company for good.

Why do we have to give a star if they aren't deserving of a star? This company is criminal - they are literally taking people's money and thieving it. I attempted to file a claim on Wednesday, told the woman what was wrong with my couch. She came back and said that it was not covered. When she told me what WAS covered, it was literally what I was telling her was the issue, except she chose different words. I even offered pictures.I called back today. The woman said I did not call within 5 days of noticing the issue. How? When I called Wednesday AND today? A day is 24 hours. Technically, I still have 9 hours before my "fifth day" is up. They are doing whatever they possibly can to scam people out of their money. I will be filing a claim with the BBB, and include an in-depth description of what this company is doing.STRAIGHT THIEVES. They should be ashamed of themselves.
