Their passport office is the worst . Me and my wife scheduled an appointment just for us to be told that our appointment was canceled because the clerk didn’t show up. We were not even given a notice of the cancellation.

This Post Office has helpful and friendly staff. Been coming here regularly for 10 hrs. I never wait long, maybe 15 minutes, but that's not usual.

Don't expect to be acknowledged by any of the employees. You can stand in line and be the only person there and nobody will care to even look at you. If you have to ship USPS, the UPS store on Central can do it which is what I ended up doing with much better service.

After my wife's wedding ring was marked delivered when we had not yet received it, I was light a torch and sharpening my pitchfork. That was yesterday. Today I submitted a request to have them look for the package. They called me 30 minutes later letting me know that someone was enroute to see if it was in the wrong mailbox by mistake (I live in an apartment with a community mailbox setup). Another 30-1hr later I receive another call letting me know that the package was found and placed in my mailbox.
Mistakes happen, human error is inevitable, but they corrected this so fast I got whiplash. I know it's popular to hate on Usps but the Bedford office has some of the best customer service over ever experienced. The gentleman I spoke with was calm, and eased the tension with a bit of light hearted humor.
Ignore the rest of the reviews from years and years ago, these days they are A++.

Went in to get passport for minor at beginning of walk-in hours 3-4 and was told they had met quota for the day? Is that really a thing? Terrible customer service. They yelled this out across the room at us as soon as we walked in the door.

Always, always, always kind, courteous, and efficient customer service. The post office is calm and efficient. I feel so fortunate that our local post office has some of the nicest and most caring people who work there. I genuinely look forward to visiting because of them. I went to have my passport application done for me and my mom, and it was very quick. The process is long in nature, Mrs. Erica helped us out and got it done quickly. She deserves more than 10 stars ? ??I appreciate and want to take the time to write how thankful I am for amazing people like Mrs. Erica!!I'm so glad I called Bedford Post Office. They're the BEST!

We walked in USPS we asked for a change of direction he dude told us he didn’t speak English so we asked him what language does he speak he tells us he was joking he didn’t want to do us the change of direction it is not a appropriate way to treat your clients

We had been trying to get a passport for our minor and had to use the walking hours right after school. Twice in one week we could not get this service. The first time the person was at lunch during the 3-4 pm window and we left after waiting 30 minutes. The second time they were short staffed and transferred the only passport authorizing employee to a non passport location. We will look elsewhere for these services.

My significant other and I went to apply for our passports for the first time and Ms. Erica was great! She was super helpful and knowledgeable about the process and had great conversation as she helped us along. Other staff that we encountered were also pleasant and fun to talk to!

I've visited 3 post office locations in the past week in an attempt to ship our wedding invitations. This is the 1st time a rep has actually been willing to help and taken the time to explain the shipping options. Eric was our rep and he was INCREDIBLE. Super courteous, knowledgeable and helpful!! He got all our invitations shipped, while still greeting and interacting with the other patrons in line. He called for assistance to ensure they're weren't inconvenienced while we helped us. This was a top tier experience! I highly recommend this location. Ask for Eric for all your shipping needs!
