The hotel was not easy to locate as I got lost a couple of times. The suites are very large with a refrigerator, and I assume a dishwasher since there were dishwashing packets available. The shower was a little odd, and it took quite a while for the water to warm up.Nearby activities: There are plenty of eating spots within a five minute drive.Food & drinks: A hot breakfast is included, but I left before it was available at 7 am.

The location is perfect. Easy access to grapevine and all the Christmas fun. The hotel front desk clerk is extremely rude and unwelcoming. When we got up to our family suite there wasn't enough pillows or blankets for the amount of beds in the room. When we asked for more, front desk clerk said they didn't have any. One of the bathroom doors in our room was locked with no one inside and again, front desk clerk refused to help open it. The kitchen was useful with the fridge and microwave however the pans were damaged beyond use and the silverware was missing. If you're looking for somewhere to stay with kids I highly recommend you look somewhere else. This hotel is not equipped to meet your needs and they don't even try to. Literally the worst experience I've ever had a hotel.

I am currently a guest at Homewood suites. Bedford TX. I have called the front desk, 1am, 3am, 6am,830am, 845am, etc.. wanting to request late checkout. Phone is picked up.. and I could hear front desk talking to other EMPLOYEES... then hang up on me. I'm furious!!! Same way when I checked in. Woman at front desk, talking to her manager as I wait for 8 min, before interrupting her, as I asked if this was a personal call? No I'm talking to my manager. Hello??? I'm furious. I just want a late check out... even called the 800 reservations, they tried connecting with them they got the same treatment! Hotel is great! Front desk staff, do not waste your money, staying here. Management and front desk, my 8 year old granddaughter would be better than they are!! Do NOT stay at Homewood suites in Bedford TX

The hotel was nasty. I never received any towels or bath cloths even after requesting. There was roaches crawling on the counter by the sink. I reported it to the front desk. There was reports of bed bugs in one room. The couches was nasty and smelly. the rooms smelled like mold. Very dissatisfied and you do not even deserve a 1. I will be making a google review as well as Yelp. thank you

I was skeptical to book this hotel after seeing some of the reviews. But I took the chance because it was the only hotel I found close to my destination with 3 beds (not a pull out couch).I believe the check-in employees name is Robert, he was AWSOME! The layout of the rooms are neat, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, the AC worked and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We travel A LOT, so I'm picky about my hotels - I will stay at this one again!Rooms: clean & comfy

This was a nice hotel, wonderful staff, we flew in for a family event... everything was clean, the staff was friendly and very understanding when we asked if we could check in early.... they did everything they could and got us in early ( got off the plane at 6am had a little one who was exhausted, they were amazing and got us in around noon) I know they can't always do it, but they try to when they canNearby activities: Not to far of a drive from six flags or hurricane harbor

I was hesitant to book here based on some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was nice and they had a good breakfast selection. I would stay here again.

Definitely Roaches! Lady at the front desk super nice works 3-11. I travel a lot for work and have pretty much stay in a hotel every week. Floors in hotel and room very dirty. I didn’t see all the reviews about the roaches until after I checked in. It is true my room had roaches. Second time I stayed here, don’t think there will NOT be a third time.

I was a little skeptical about staying here because of the reviews but let me just say, I am so glad I took the risk! My room was amazing, I had a 2 bed queen 1 bedroom suite. I arrived early and was able to check in 15 minutes before 3pm. No bugs, no roaches. During checkout, I got to talk to Bridget. She was super nice, super helpful and honest! She told me there was a problem with roaches but they hired a NEW pest company and has not had any problems since. I am a Hilton honor member, I absolutely love Homewood hotels. I will be staying here again with my family when we travel again!

Very nice hotel for the price! Bring your own pillow if you don't like ultra soft and small. Hilton needs to change their pillows. Also make sure you request a room that does not smell like smoke . Other than thar this hotel had an awesome breakfast, very clean rooms, great location and overall a very nice facility for the price. My kids enjoyed the basketball court and the pool looked very nice too. Would highly recommend!!!

The stay ended up being just okay. We travel a lot for business, this trip we were on the road and not checking in until 1am. There have been circumstances that when you check in late without letting them know they could put you as a no-show and sell your room. I tried calling the front desk all day the day of check in and the phone would ring and automatically disconnect. I have never dealt with this on any trip ever so I called Hilton customer service and they could not even guarantee that the hotel was open and running! Being that check in was so late I’d rather be safe and book at another hotel but Hilton would not let me cancel the room being that it was the date of check in. Spoke to 3 supervisors, absolutely ridiculous. If Hilton can’t help you who can?! Extremely unsettling. We arrived at the hotel, everything was locked up due to the late hour with no one at the front desk. I called the phone outside and was finally able to check in. The room was fine. Dated but large. My only complaint was the large poop smear on the shower curtain. Not sure how housekeeping could have missed that.

This hotel has major issues. We experienced problems with the AC in one room. When we called the front desk, they did not really want to help us. They sent “someone” to check the outside unit and said it was working fine and not frozen. That still did not explain why the room would not cool down. The said that since it was a corner room it received more heat during the day and would take time to cool down. Front Desk manager also admitted that they don’t have maintenance on the weekends and that their phones have not been working for over six months (can’t receive outside calls). Since the hotel was fully booked and we used a 3rd party reservation system, hotel staff was unwilling and unable to help us. Definitely will not be staying here again.

Our stay really wasn’t bad… the room was great, we brought our dog and he had an appropriate place to potty outside. Location was convenient for us and the breakfast was great!2 stars because we left a bag and the hotel has no direct phone number, so once we made it home I asked a family member to go to the hotel to see if they found it (6 hours after we left). At that time Bridget said housekeeping had not seen it, but she gave her personal number to give to me. I checked in with Bridget but no response. I’d like to know if they found it or not. I’d like it back.Also, not having a direct line is really inconvenient as we were trying to reach the hotel before we arrived.

Very rude check in. Our rooms were not adjacent as requested a month in advance. One of our rooms was not ready at 4 pm although check in was 3. Found there to be no hot tub/spa or bathtubs. Asked for more towels because we were only given 4 for 6 people and told we had to come get them ourselves. To top it off the kitchen is infested with ROACHES! Very expensive and probably the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Dirty and disrespectful.If you come here expecting a three star hotel, you will be disappointed.The room itself needs an update. The last finish out was clearly done quickly and cheaply. There were no trash bags in the trash cans. The stairways were not vacuumed. Dirty will be a theme throughout this review.The guest service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. The guests above us were loud and the front desk did not help. They even said there’s nothing they can do during the day, which is b.s. We stayed four nights and asked for our room to be cleaned on the third day and we were told that they probably wouldn’t be able to clean it. So we have a dirty room. Later that evening I called down for towels and the front desk person said I could walk down and get them. When I came down the towels were not folded neatly and were messily strewn about the front desk - the front desk person was not even there. I assume they were goofing off in the back (there was no one in the lobby at the time).The fitness center was dirty, had no towels, and no water - completely unacceptable. I don’t think the fitness center was cleaned at all in the four days I was here. The breakfast was passable and the highway right next to the hotel is obnoxiously loud.I have stayed at multiple Homewood Suites and Hilton properties across the country and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had.Hilton should be ashamed to have their name associated with this franchisee. It is clear to me that the franchisee doesn’t care, doesn’t staff enough people that care, and doesn’t staff adequately period.If you’re coming with kids for a game or amusement park for two nights or less, good luck to you.If you’re an adult looking for a nice, quiet hotel with average or better amenities and service, go elsewhere. There are plenty of other Homewood Suites in the area.I will never stay here again even though I travel to the area multiple times per year and the location is convenient.
