“Extremely busy store at 9am (opening) on a Saturday. Didn't see a cashier in sight. Luckily I was only there to donate - the donation area is around the back, and can be easy to miss. The attendant was easy to work with, took my single donation box from my car, and away I went.

Inside was clean and mostly organized. A lot of junk, and LOTS of clothes. This is definitely a place to hit if you're looking for clothes. Toys and book selection (I went for books) was very sad.”

“This place has a nice area where you can hang out, have coffee ,and get a healthy lunch. The drinks and food are pretty good and your patronage helps to feed those in need of help in the community . I particularly enjoyed my cold glass of rosemary, mint iced tea The staff is super friendly and helpful. Even if you're not a local you will feel like one there. The Dapper Cafe /The Awareness Project is an asset to the community. I highly recommend.”

“Arlington's downtown keeps getting better. Outdoor concerts and movies on the lawn, an awesome 3 story library, coffee shops, great restaurants and cafes with patios, craft breweries and tap houses, pubs/bars, shops, theatre, an art museum, and retro arcade...just to name a few. Walk-ability is great too. Favorite place to meet up with friends. Great people, great vibe. Proud to call Arlington home.”

“I can't even begin to explain what incredible women these are that run this store. They made my daughter's wedding the perfect day by helping us find her perfect dress!! Being the mother of three daughters, these women were such a huge blessing! We were able to find a bridesmaid dress as well as a formal dress for my youngest band formal. Thank you ladies!”

“Every person here is passionate and loving towards bunnies. They go above and beyond to care for them so they never feel neglected again. They have a process to adopt to ensure the bunnies will go to a proper home, and you can also buy rabbit supplies here! I also get my bunny Basil’s nails trimmed here. Couldn’t recommend enough! Note that they are only open on Saturdays to the public.”

“Very thankful for the Keller Lions Club having this Flag Retirement Box so that we could properly dispose of an American flag that was tattered and left by the previous homeowners when we moved in. They also have an Eye Glasses & Hearing Aid collection box if anyone needs that too.”

“I stopped in today on a workout and upon entry I noticed how clean the facility was! The men’s locker room was clean, including the shower and toilet area. More gyms can take a lesson on cleanliness less from YMCA!The location have a wrap around track on the second floor that is perfect for walking but not running so much. The cardio machines are all on second floor and they are limited and the main floor all have their free and machine weights, basketball and spin room. They have to have a nice variety of weights but limited number of weights and machines so on a busy day, you may have to workout between your mates. The hours of operation is limited to 8-9pm and some locations closed on Sunday which is disappointing because if I tend to workout mostly in the late evenings. The only hinder from a 5 star are the hours and limited machines and weights. Nice gym and child care options but if you tend to workout early or late in the evenings, YMCA may not be the best option.”

“"I have fallen on hard times recently and it has been causing me a lot of stress. The biggest worry on my mind has been how to feed my kitten, who is my emotional support animal. I couldn't bear the thought of surrendering her because of my financial difficulties. I was relieved to find a place that could provide the necessary food and supplies for her. The staff there was incredibly welcoming and down-to-earth, which made me feel comfortable asking for help. I am grateful for their assistance since it was difficult for me to ask for help in the first place."”

“We are so happy with Lonestar ABA and in the 1 month we have seen improvement in our son. You can tell they care about your child and the BCBA’s really get to know your child to set up the roadmap for therapy. They also offer amazing activities for the family to join in on. We attended a fall festival with games for everyone and a petting zoo and they just had a sensory friendly Santa event where they took family pictures with Santa! I couldn’t be happier here and highly recommend Lonestar ABA.”

“Long post but I swear it's worth it. I feel super compelled to tell you about something that is INCREDIBLE that I discovered by accident. I promise you this is truly the best pet parent tip you'll probably ever get. When we were considering adopting this former stray, I was concerned because we had always adopted older dogs and never had a puppy. I wanted to make a plan for his every need. I called our vet just to get a ballpark on what the expense would be to get him all 3 rounds of shots and get him neutered. I was shocked when they told me that his first round of shots would be $400. JUST the first set. Then, to have him neutered would be an additional $500-$600 and even more if I wanted him to get pain meds! (Like who would put a dog through surgery and not make sure they were comfortable afterwards?!) I didn't know any better and almost bit the bullet and went with our usual vet. SO HAPPY I DIDN'T! I just happened to check to see if the cost would be the same at other vets in town and was BLOWN AWAY when I came across Texas Coalition For Animal Protection. (They have locations all over.) For ALL 3 rounds of shots, microchipping, and neutering with pain management after, THEY ONLY CHARGED $150. $150 TOTAL FOR EVERYTHING!! And they have great reviews. We have had 4 vet visits with them and I'm over the moon happy with every single person that we've met and the care they provided my Banner baby every single visit. They also offer ridiculously low rates for your dogs & cats to get their annual vaccinations, dental cleanings, and heartworm testing/preventative. (I mean, less than $75!) Look them up. I sincerely cannot say enough good things about them! Most affordable and the most wonderful service for the State of Texas. Donate if you can! They're remarkable!!”

“The volunteers were very nice and helpful. We were there to get some groceries at the food bank. We needed a little help this month to stretch our SS checks. Got a lot of food; much more than we thought we would. It is Christian based but no pressure to come to church or anything. As we were leaving they welcomed us back any time. They also have clothes to look at if you have a need.”
