I've been using Bedford Oaks family vet for almost 2 years now and have been more than impressed with the level of attention you get from the staff and doctors. This morning I had an appointment with my Jake for some routine care. When they weighed him, he was almost 2 pounds lighter since his last appointment in December which greatly concerned me. Their was a relief doctor in today, Dr Abalos, who sat and talked with me through this trying to figure out what it could be and why he is losing weight because he is totally healthy and not showing signs of being sick. After sharing Jake's diet and supplements with Dr Abalos, she quickly figured out what the cause, more than likely was, in being an ingredient in a supplement that I was giving him daily. It also answered a question of why he was sometimes throwing his food up right after eating because he wasn't able to digest this ingredient. Thank you Dr Abalos for spending so much time with me this morning helping me try to figure this out. The love and concern you showed today was outstanding!! And thank you to the techs and office staff for always being friendly and showing that you care.

I have gone to this vet since 1997, when Dr Rowe retired it's been a horrible experience with this office. I never see the same vet when we go in there, the vet wrote down the wrong information in my dogs chart and now because of this they expect me to pay another vet visit fee cause of her mistake! They think cause she wrote what she wrote, which is not what I was told in person, they believe her over a customer for over 20 plus years. I do not recommend this vet anymore, I referred so many people over the years and will no longer!

The staff here are very friendly and helpful! I have two anxious pets that hate vet visits, and Bedford Oaks has been wonderful in making them feel comfortable ?

This was our first visit. I was immediately struck by how clean, open and friendly the office was. We were greeted right away and waited a very few minutes before taken back to an exam room. Dr Madison came in right away. She was very good with our cat. She explained everything to us and left us with no questions. This is definately our new animal clilnic.

We absolutely love everyone we’ve met at Bedford Oaks! Everyone there is kind and caring to the pets as well as the pet parents. Then only drawback is it’s pretty expensive. Other than that we love it?

Both of our dogs have had great experiences at this vet. All techs and doctors are friendly with the dogs and knowledgeable in their advice. Luckily we haven’t had any big health issues with our dogs, but if those arise, I’ll trust this clinic to treat us with care. Thank you!

Waited 50min to see the Vet. While in the back as well... Quite speechless. They didn't weigh my baby, just gave him his shot and we left. The customer service needs improvement.

I have gone to this clinic since my cat was about years and Dr.Rowe was wonderful. A month ago I had to take my 19 1/2 year old kitty to be put to rest. I called on Tuesday but was told I couldn't get an appointment until 4 pm on Thursday. Dr Rowe would never have made me wait 2 days to do something so painful. I arrived at 3:40. It took until 4pm just to get the paper work and meantime m baby sat in a carrier. At least a friend was with her. We finally got in at 4:03 and we waited and waited and I was getting more and more upset. My baby picked up on my anxiety and she was getting upset. I went out to the outer area and asked what are you doing??? Oh, no one has come in yet? We will send them right in. A tech finally came and got her, which I protested as I felt they could give relaxing shot right there. Oh we need better light so we have to take her. She came back to me very sedated. The vet finally came and said sorry but someone came in and I had to tell them their pet was dying!! What did she think I was there for, FUN!! She gave four more fluids and kept listening to her heart and I ask what are you doing. Oh heart stopped but I just want to be sure! I was so livid I could not cry and I needed to desperately! I will never take a pet there again!!!

Dr. Rowe has retired. The clinic is now on its third subsequent vet since she retired. I saw various vets standing in from other clinics for my pets over the last year. The fees have escalated tremendously. The vets rely more on tests, x-rays, ultrasound, bloodwork, specialists, and consults than they seem to rely on observation, interview questions, or exam findings. As a medical professional, I see this trend in my students as well. An uncomplicated chief complaint for my pet turned into a 2 1/2 hour visit, after initially sitting in the waiting room over 30 minutes, with a bill of over $600. i was not made aware of any emergency occurring that caused the delay.

Every time we go we have to wait an incredibly long time. Every single time.
My dog gets nervous going to the vet and the wait does not help.
She was panting like crazy when in the room waiting still and she was never offered water or anything.
For the cost this is completely unacceptable. I do not recommend this place.
