I have had multiple great encounters with this business over the years. I took mine and my husbands wedding rings to be polished before our wedding, I went back after we got married to get my engagement ring and wedding band soldered together. Today, I just picked up a string of pearls they restrung for me. They quoted me one price and found a cheaper way to restring them for me by the time I returned. Each encounter has been professional, fair priced and exactly what I came for. I have family members who have had great experiences here as well. Don’t let any other reviews deter you from choosing this place. I absolutely recommend it to everyone.

A younger guy that works there didn't even give me the time of day or have any interest in looking at what I brought to the store The older man that works there he's nice and he's really good I don't suggest going there on a day that the older gentleman is not there not happy with the service I received

Richard who I haven't seen in about 2 years treated my wife and I like gold. We aren't millionaires, but he designed my wife's engagement ring, and wedding band. Prior to our wedding, my ring was on back order, and he lent us a ring for our ceremony. We've spent thousands at this shop, and loved the customer experience. I went into the shop for my wife's birthday back in September and was met by two men I had never seen before. I asked for yellow sapphire earrings and went over what I was looking for and the size. When they came in, they were the size of something an infant would wear. My wife went back to the store on Halloween of last year to modify the order, they claimed they called but didn't. Went in to the store today to buy a replacement ring because I lost mine, and asked about the status of the earrings. I was given a $25 dollar discount on a ring, and told them I'll bring my wife in to inspect the stones they ordered over 5 months ago. Richard always told me, "our goal is to have customers for life". Today they lost my business. The customer experience is gone, and they'll get the extra $1000 dollars for a pair of earrings I ordered back in September. Such a disappointing experience, and an example of how change in management can destroy a relationship with local business. A shame.

Bedford Gold and Silver is not trustworthy. They lost several coins of mine weeks ago and have gave me excuse after excuse for weeks. I gave them notice of the date I will be contacting the Attorney General (Consumer Affairs) and the BBB. The owner's son is an arrogant loud mouth with an attitude that should not be tolerated from any consumer.

My family has done business with Richard and staff for several years now and each time has been a pleasure. During tough economic times Richard has always come through with great offers to buy. On our last transaction Richard made an offer to buy some of our platinum and we decided the time was not right. Fast forward a few weeks and the price for platinum had fallen but when we returned to sale he honored his written quote. Thank you to Richard and the staff at Bedford Gold&silver

Been buying from Richard and crew pretty regularly for the past year or so. These guys always have a very diverse selection of numismatics and bullion to suit any taste or budget. They have a staggering amount of beautiful jewelry, but that’s more my wife’s thing. ? Richard has always been super fun to talk to and has a wealth of knowledge about anything he carries in his store. The store is very secure and clean. 5 star service every time. This shop is well worth your drive from anywhere in the metroplex!

Sent wife in to sell some gold , done business here before so I thought it would be ok to send her. I should have went myself , instead she was taken advantage of by Richard. Tried to confront him on the issue and buy the jewelry back. He lied said he already melted it , I also have pictures of gold and stamps where you can clearly see it isn't 14kt what he paid her for. Gold was 18kt and Richard admitted to her having 18kt but she was only paid for 14kt. This is what happens when you trust someone and they fully take advantage of the situation. His employee who helped her wouldn't speak up either and she knew exactly what was brought into store. Classic example of a man taking advantage of a woman who didn't know what she had. Beware

Always had a good experience here. The owner is deeply passionate about jewelry and if he's got the time he explains in great detail the difference in stones and does his best to get you the best quality for the price. He's been willing to make deals on various pieces of jewelry I've bought and has been more than fair with several coins and broken pieces for trade-in value. We've come straight in from doing yard work to drop off pieces for repair and he's never treated us poorly even though we came in grubby, lol. He's also creative and really gets excited about creating a new piece if you've got jewelry that needs to be updated.

I went and sold some jewelry here and I was told that most of it was fake. They paid 60$ for a few rings that were silver. I took the rest to another dealer who actually used a diamond tester and took time evaluating the items. These people are thief’s and will rip you off. Don’t go here.also want to add that they wrote my 24k gold down as 12k. Richard if you see this I’m very disappointed in your employees. My family’s used y’all for 20 years and my first this happens

Be careful put a few coins in front of their numismatic because he is a thief. He tried to act like he didn’t see a coin that got pushed up under a lip on his desk but my mother knew there were 5 coins and he gave back only 4. But “oh oops here it is”. And in my ziplock I had a very specific error and it came up missing too. I kept saying where is that penny? Be aware!!

Richard the owner is not worth dealing with. Many other coin shops with much better inventory and value. If he doesn’t know you he will try and rio you off.
