Very awesome little shop, and the proprietor of this establishment was very warm and welcoming. If you visit beaumont, TX, it's definitely a place to checkout

Stopped by during normal business hours and doors were locked. I called the phone number painted on the side of the building and no one answered.

I stand by my original review, regardless of local backlash, and new location(s). Owners bought my huge bird cages, off of vagrants. I found them, within the week, same cages, still had some of my birds nesting materials on them. Had the police out, they agreed, was same cage, but, no serial number(duh, not at that age). I had pics., not to mention, the shop they had before, was within the block or 2 of my house. They bought them off of a guy on the street, "anything less than $20, we dont get I.D."...kinda convenient. Years later, yes, im still upset. The same week mine went missing, they had it in store for sale...what are the chances?! Also, had pics. From who I originally bought them from, of anyone remembered Jan's antiques, and her husband. They were golden, let me work them off. They did offer to sell them to me for a discounted price...but, ummm, no, I've already paid for them once. I'm not the only one in old town beaumont that this has happened to either...which, im assuming, is why they moved their shop from the antique area....

Travelled in from LA to antique shop, saw reviews on line. Understood they closed at 4Pm. Made it around 3:00 and doors were locked and lights on inside. Knocked and no one answered. Disappointed.
