I’m just another individual who was scammed into the FYE Backstage subscription with the understanding of a free rewards program. Pay with cash if you can here or don’t bother at all! And definitely don’t share your information either. Also, plenty of the things here can be found at other stores that will not use your information unethically (since stealing is quite unethical!) and at more reasonable prices. I’ve yet to be scammed by 2nd and Charles or Spencer’s.

Bought something small and the lady asked me to sign up for something, I politely said no thank you, and she was like, "Oh, it's easy and quick" again I said no thank you and she was like, cmon, you get some nice discounts here for being a member. I relented and was like fine. Fast forward and I realize what I was signed up for isn't a loyalty program, it was a monthly subscription. Then when I try to cancel it, I have to jump through hoops. Probably won't be going in there anymore...Tl;Dr They have interesting things in there, but insist on saying no to ANY additional sign up stuff.

I told her I didn't want to sign up for anything said she needed my driver's license to pay with a card gave it to her and now I'm getting magazines in the mail. Store is of no help they just steal your information don't go there save yourself the fraud charges.

Family still lives in Texas and while visiting popped into this store for a shock not too long ago. Monday the 7th of this month. Don't think anyone knew I was there because I overheard the head manager woman spout off at the employees there telling them if they discuss their wages with eachother she's going to immediately fire them!! Which is ILLEGAL BY THE WAY. Also the membership program IS NOT FREE!! DO NOT SIGN UP. Read the fine print before you press buttons because they'll scam you! Definitely contacting the company.Edit. The company clearly doesn't care. I contacted their customer service by email and it's been far over the response window time

Do NOT shop here! If I could give 0 stars I would. They gave me a "coupon" at check out a few months ago. Turns out it was not a coupon it's a subscription service that's been charging me $11.99 a month. What the hell is wrong with you people? Nothing but a bunch of liars and scammers.

This store signs ypu up for a reward program and makes it seem free. Its NOT free. Its a subscription and they hide it in fine print. The rewards company they are partnered with, FYE back stage pass, require stores to verbally tell people but this store ignored that rule so its not FYE's fault. This store is not following FYE's regulations and FYE have been made aware of this store doing this. FYE will be looking into this to ensure customers are told in the future.

Do not sign up for the fye membership, they do a play on words to make it sound like it's free even when you ask for the charge. They say it's free to sign up but they don't mention that's a subscription and instead ask you to click accept on their keypads to be subscribed. Not once do they mention a subscription and they will not refund you.

Bought an FYE edition Japan Crate box from here, and one of the snacks was opened up. And my "unique collector item" was a tiny marker that was dried out. This tells me those boxes have been there for way too long. I spent $50 for that. I'm beyond disappointed and upset. I live too far away to simply go back and get a refund. My opinion of this store is permanently damaged.

Have bought many of movies from this place, but when I went today the gate was closed the employee would not let us in but 4 people walked around inside shopping for 25 minutes! The employee walked over and finally opened the gate but only to let the people out. He closed the gate and told me he was going to lunch be back in 30 minutes, walked the mall for 40 minutes went back gate was still closed so I took my business somewhere else!

Dear TANGELA! So I have been going to this store since I was about 7 with my grandfather who passed and it was a good memory for me. I had since transitioned and moved away and stuff and hadn’t been in a while till I moved to Beaumont and honestly this was back when Mark worked there and it was before he got fired or left whatever for taking pictures of people and making fun of them posting them on Facebook I called him out on it and he got fired for it and one of the pictures was of ME and my aunt . So it’s not my first issue with the store. The store manager TANGELA now light skinned black lady she was always nice (Minus the fact that she CONSTANTLY MISGENDERED ME) but I overlooked it and it was cool because I still loved the store and everyone in it. And the fact that they have super cool movies no one else does. So about two weeks ago me and my boyfriend were shopping and she (the store manager who purposely misgenders me and I have already called corporate on her about this issue ) I’m the one who got Mark fired btw or made him leave .. ? do you wanna be next girlfriend ??? Just saying . Anyways she was following me and my boyfriend around literally being super creepy literally trying to look into my purse ??? and I’m a devout customer in this store mind you not only exchanging movies and letting them get over on US for dirt cheap(Better than 2nd and Charles but not by much ) but also I’m tired of her calling me a MAN or HE I mean she should know better her assistant is a GAY MAN!! And her son is transitioning .... Girl you better stop while you are ahead with profiling me I won’t be back to your busted store because of your following and creepy hard stalking of me I don’t get why you would do that to me of all people ... and I have already given all info to corporate on how you constantly misgender me you know I’m trans it’s obvious and you continuously yell out even in front of customers (HE ) do you know how embarrassing that is to me? Do you know how hard I’ve worked on my transition how many years I’ve been going to therapy dealing with gender dysphoria etc everything for you to misgender me?? I’m not some Non Binary or whatever I’m a WOMAN AND HONESTLY YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON IN BEAUMONT WHO DOES THAT TO ME!! And doesn’t apologize . I’m tired of it TANGELA !! And I won’t tolerate it . The misgendering is completely unnaceptable ! STOP !

Love the store!! All my DVD/blue ray needs are right here and omg the funko pops are amazing!! The store manager is polite and pleasant and always willing to assist!! 5 stars for sure!!
