PODS is NOT a good company to lease storage containers from. Your scheduled pick-up can be canceled and reschedule by the company (for whatever reason they choose) and you will still be charged for that month as well as pick-up fees. They don't prorate their fees. So if your cycle starts on the 5th and you schedule pick-up for the 1st and just so happen it rains on the 1st, they will reschedule you for the 6 (purposly), therefore charging you for that entire month. So you have just paid for an entire month for a container you no longer have. And to express how unethical this is...when you complain about it, they refer you to their policy that basically says, if we want to charge you for an additional month, we can because for whatever reason/excuse mankind can come up with, to not be charge for something they don't have.... uts included in the policy. Highway robbery, lol. A lesson learned and as with everything my family consume, we have a choice of where to spend our money, so PODS is now on the "not worth my money" list. I do NOT recommend PODS to anyone unless you like giving away your hard earned money. Invest in your own storage container/building or lease from other companies. Its much cheaper, less hassle. We live and we learn.
Good luck, potential renters, but remember it's a choice and trust the reviews. If you are questionable, then it's a "DO NOT GIVE AWAY YOUR MONEY" answer.

If you want to speak to someone that you can understand after they drop the Pod off don't use this company. Communication is the worst and beyond frustrating! They outsource there customer service to the Philippines and 99.9% of the time you will not be able to understand them it is ridiculous and unacceptable! If you do use them I wish you luck because if you run into any issues while selling your house and need to change dates or anything your stress level will be increased 100 times dealing with Pods customer service!

While my pod was convenient and the cost seemed agreeable in the beginning, I didn't realize I would be charged for a full month while only using the pod for 14 days that month. Pickup was delayed by weather, and urged by the driver, I complied because I didn't know I would still be charged for having the container. The fact that they will charge customers a full month for less than half a months use, I will not be a returning customer and can't recommend this service to anyone else.

Doesn't protect ur items I was promised that nothing could get inside but when I went to retrieve my items mice got in and ruined all my belongings

The top of the POD was damaged and water entered and ruined all my furniture. PODs never contacted me or replaced my items. Don't use them!

If I could give zero Stars I would because you got a forklift operator trying to tell you how to operate a 18 wheeler no need for instructions class been over with when I got my CDL but he want to try to tell you how to drive your truck. It makes perfect sense why you operate a forklift and i drive a18 wheeler. Stay in your lane pops.

Terrible Experience with PODS in Beaumont - A Warning!I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with PODS in Beaumont. I paid over $60 for padded moving and storage covers that were never delivered as promised. The delivery guy not only refused to acknowledge the missing covers but also argued with me, insisting that I hadn't ordered them. When I asked for assistance in contacting someone in Beaumont to resolve the issue, he was unhelpful and dismissive.Even more frustrating, after the failed delivery, I attempted to reach out to the delivery guy for updates regarding the missing covers. Shockingly, he blatantly ignored my calls and texts, leaving me hanging without any response. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is truly disappointing and infuriating.I strongly advise anyone considering using PODS in Beaumont to think twice before entrusting them with your moving and storage needs. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the frustration and inconvenience that I have faced. Beware of their poor customer service and inability to fulfill their promises.The overall customer service experience from PODS has been deeply disappointing. Their general phone number is not only ineffective but also outsourced overseas, resulting in representatives who are uninformed and unable to provide any meaningful assistance. This lack of local support and understanding of customer concerns has only added to the frustration and disappointment I've experienced with their services.

I will never use PODS again due to their lack of communication and incompetence on the pickup. Pickup was scheduled for a Tuesday. Driver texting stating that he could not find the business. Google AND Apple maps takes you straight to the location. When I responded a few minutes later he had already left for his second stop. Emailed my contact with these details and her response was 'It was on schedule for early this morning'. No kidding?? That's why we staged it on our drive where it still sits blocking vehicles! Pickup rescheduled for Friday morning between 7a and 10a. It is 1:37p and the POD is still sitting there. Call center rep was pleasant and the pickup is supposedly scheduled for this afternoon, but too little to late.

It was very cool to see it be delivered. The delivery driver was friendly and didnt mind me staring like a weirdo as he did his job. The POD was clean and more spacious than i expected. It was delivered in a timely manner as the company stated

They forgot to pick up my pod, which was on our city street. We were fined and hassled by the city codes officer. It took PODS 3 more days before they picked it up.

First thing the Gmap is misleading to wrong exit and address. The exit you need to take is 848 on Walden road.Secondly the center is opened until 5pm instead of 4pm as shown on Gmaps and starts business at 7am.The guys at center are super helpful.Reducing to 4 stars because I was frustrated to find the center and the customer service was d*** as well!

BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!!! DON'T ONLY READ MY REVIEW READ THE REST OF THE 1 STAR REVIEWS ON GOOGLE and PODS.COM. SEEMS TO BE RECURRING BAD SERVICE AND OVERCHARGING WITH PODS!!!! EASY DELIVERY AND STORAGE THAT TURNS INTO A NIGHTMARE ONCE THE POD IS PICKEDUP!!!Everything was excellent from ordering the POD, having it dropped off, to and paying my monthly fees. However, when it came time for pickup, I was CHARGED $812.00!!! I had to close my account because PODS kept CHARGING me for little amounts until my account was DEPLETED!!!To PODS Reply:The reply listed below does not justify what you took out of my account. I only owed $89.00 for a pickup fee and was even in agreement with $98 with taxes. So 5 charges of $89.00 and another charge of $367.05 for a grand total of $812.00 IS NOT TRANSPARENT!!! I have been on the phone with your horrible customer service reps since Monday to only keep accruing more charges on my bank account!!! This lovely reps also deleted my PODs online account from the system. At this point, I have closed my account and am floored with your business which I suggested to and paid for on behalf of my mom. NEVER AGAIN!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!!
