Very unprofessional we went and no one asked if we needed help and all employees looked at us as if we couldn't afford anything there , we were in the kids shoes and they had abt 4-5 workers around us and nun offered to help us with anything while they all helped a Caucasian women (were Hispanic)

My husband and I took back two pair of slacks. I realize I'd had them for six months. The manager on duty a lady was very rude and made us stay there while she examined and picked up every piece of lint on the them. Finally giving us a gift card for the return. I worked retail for many many years. My manager would not allow us to act hateful towards our customers. The way it should have and would have been handled as follows...... satisfy the customer with a refund. After refused complete the items would be taken to the stockroom and removed any lint and steamed pressed and put back out. As long as they were still in fashion. Not putting myself through this again.

Makayla at Dillards is one of the nicest people I've ever met at Dillards! She helped me find an eye cream and was so sweet as to give me some free samples! 10/10 customer service. Not to mention she was dressed very professionally and looked stunning as well.

Lot's of great clothing at discount prices and also a good selection of new fashion designer at regular price. I really had a good time at this store and felt safe.

Late Post - Stefan ( spelling ?) in the suit department was amazing! He was patient and kind and made sure my son got exactly what he wanted and the exact fit he wanted!! The seamstress did a perfect job as well!! ?

I stood at the watch counter for about 5-6 minutes while the associate just played on her phone. She didn’t bother to look up and say hello, hi, anything. I’m literally standing there looking invisible, all the while being 6ft dark skin with a big black coat on in my work uniform clearly visible with all the lights on in the store. If serving me or giving me the attention I deserve as a customer makes you uneasy because I’m black then it’s time for you to move out of customer service and find another way to pay bills cause this wasn’t it. Dillard a missed out on a sale today because I literally walked in to buy several watches and purses to match those watches but the taste that was left in my mouth made me reconsider. This is why shopping online is the best because human interaction is severely overrated!

Customer service was on point today. Everyone is always helpful and friendly. Couldn't find any jeans for my son. Seems like I can never find boys clothes on sale.

I was driving through Beaumont on my way to visit family the other day and decided to stop at Parkdale mall. Most stores don't have a good selection of Men's clothing so I made my way to Dillards. I was greeted upon entry and treated extremely well and even given great suggestions by every sales associate I encountered, so they are definitely not the reason for this review. If I could give them 5 stars I would! The reason for this review is because of the horrible manager that was there. Very tall and slender man, I asked one of the other workers his name and he told me it was Jay so not sure if that's a nickname or his actual name. After I had found what I need for myself I went to a different section in the juniors to browse for my daughter and he was side eyeing me the entire time. Didn't know it was a crime to shop for my teen! Now I don't take things personal so that's besides the point. He absolutely treats his employees like trash! The young lady working this department- he was practically yelling at her in front of me and others I'm not sure what happened but that's no way to act, no need to embarrass the employee- talk to them civilized in the office! And it didn't even stop there. It seems like he was just such a bully to everyone. While I was checking out the sweet associate asked 'Jay' a question that I had regarding the return policy since I don't live near by. He ignored her and just glared at her. She asked again and he rolled his eyes, scoffed, and walked away! What on earth? I felt so bad for every employee there. Calm down sir you're just a department store manager, no reason to be on such a power trip. I will be reporting to the BBB. Absolutely ridiculous to have a manager who doesn't know how to be KIND.

There's a ridiculous Barnaby looking security guard that's seems to have just stepped out of Mayberry there. As soon as I stepped off of the escalator this man went from flirting with the Estee Lauder girl to being on my heels. He literally followed me from department to department until I finally found someone in shoes to help me find boots I had a picture of. While this lady and I were conversing this man came over to the counter and TOOK AN ELBOW REST TO GLARE AT ME. Both of us stopped mid sentence to turn around and look at him. He never spoke and never stopped hovering. Finally I asked WHO IS HE? Here's the lovely part: NOONE KNOWS! At least that's the farce they're putting on. So a rent a cop in a Party City costume is patrolling your store? At this point I can only laugh. I left without giving a penny. Sure I could probably find them online but I'm not giving them another dime. Telling my family and friends to do the same!

1. It was hot af in there, thought my friend was going to pass out. 2. Wanted to buy a ring and NO ONE was in the jewelry department. We waited for 15 minutes and still NO ONE. What the hell Dillard's.
