This place was very unprofessional in regards to renting a U-Haul. We had called U-Haul when attempting to return after discovering we couldn’t park it. We tried to return the U-Haul but the gate to the auto lot was locked so there was no parking at all. It was also raining and needing to get my disabled daughter home to manage her blood sugars and get the medicine she needed. Captain’s cars wasn’t even aware that we had extended our rental. The app and the site does not equate to the physical location and there is no communication between the auto lot and U-Haul. When we arrived to even pick up the truck, there was only 2 trucks amongst the cars attempting to be sold. Just grabbing the key, pay, sign the forms, and go. Tried to charge additional fees for their errors. Lady was rude when I explained our situation. She told me that someone else was waiting on it , like that was my fault. They were moving out of state. People are just trying to do the best they can these days with the information we have. No one had ever told us upon pickup that the return location would be closed. Even if that meant we would need to pay additional costs for bringing it to a new location, that information should have been given to us before official rental started. Bad business approach. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody for any reason. There is a general code of conduct in business. No matter the role, people deserve to be treated with care. The most basic of standards for the general code of conduct was clearly not met. From now on I will consider alternative locations or other moving resource options. I want to make it clear, we had contacted U-Haul and explained the entire situation when attempting to return and they said we were okay, sorry for any inconvenience, and if the location for drop off had any issues, than to contact U-Haul directly and they would facilitate that.

Do not rent a U Haul from them unless you wanna be lied to and charged for their errors. Extended rent time to 8pm and went to drop off and their gates were closed. Tried to call them next day and no answer, but will call us back hours later to scream at us for their mistakes acting like they didn't know we extended. These people shouldn't be able to rent U Hauls if they can't do it honorably.

Don't go there tammy is no good my husband car was hit from the back she did nothing to help him but he paid he a full note for a car that he didn't drive ... She nothing bout trash like her cars that's why they still sitting there

Thing is about Captains Cars is when they go to auctions to buy these cars they go through them with fine toothed combs. Keep in mind these are used cars but they bring back the best of the best vehicles for their money. Ive bought 3 or 4 cars from them and have brought them numerous customers and there has never been major issues with any of those vehicles... The owners Tammy and Kirk are very stand up people and they are the only note lot I will purchase a vehicle from, Period... Because I know the quality of the vehicles they have on their lot. If there is by chance an issue they do not have a problem fixing it.. If you want a note lot car its the premier place to go In My Opinion in Southeast Texas...
