I was picking up an online order and buying some bettas, I asked the cashier if I could get 50% off for Black Friday and with a very arrogant and very annoyed attitude he said no, because today is Thursday lol he is one with shoulder length hair who looks retarded He took all the merchandise out of front and told me to leave. In the end I ended up buying my bettas. I had to call the manager. I do not recommend this place, and be careful with the retarded

Super inconvenient. Scheduled an appointment for both of my dogs, once I got there they made me wait 15 minutes only to tell me they couldn't take both of my babies and only one. This was super inconvenient especially since I woke up early to bring them since i works nights.

Took my pup in for a groom because she was long overdue on getting her nails trimmed. Almost 4 hours and $70 later, all they were able to do was give her a bath because they said she was freaking out too much to get her nails trimmed, which was the ONLY reason we went anyways. They handed her back to us not even fully dried and charged us almost $70 just for giving her a bath and 'paw balm'. Huge waste of time and money. Do not use their grooming services.

I recently brought my dogs here for a grooming. Dropped off for their 9am appointments and they weren't ready until 3pm. At drop off they said they'd call (they ended up texting) in 3-4 hours, which I thought was a long time. But it ended up taking 6 hours because they had a fire alarm go off... they did a good job on their grooming but I most likely won't return just because of the wait time.

We were very pleased with our experience at this location. Our senior dog was due for his vaccines and all the staff were very professional and kind. From check in, to records, to Dr assistant and Dr. Quan....all worked together well. All procedures were explained and overall a pleasant experience. Thank you Cayden H., Dulce D., Michele R., and Dr Jonathan Quan!

My 2nd dog Mrs puffy pants needed a trim so i went to petco i walked in and a german shephered sniffed my round buttox it reminded me of my 1st husband gerard.Cambridge my eldest and my youngest Amber went into the grooming area and waited while i walked around and lookd at the animals. A young man about 20 gave me some sexaul looks but as a devoted christian i just gave him the nice romantic eyebrows i giggled and bit my lip but it seemed to scare the young man away haha! anyways Mrs puffy pants has never looked better i m so happy with the results and that sexy young man definetely helped!

This review is specifically for my visit to the Petco grooming salon in Baytown on 12-5-19. I brought my Yorkie, Lili, in for a 10:00am appointment for a bath and a haircut and was told that grooming would be completed in 3-4 hours. I called Petco at 2:15pm and was told that no estimated completion time could be given and that she had already been bathed. I went back to Petco at 3:00pm and stood at the grooming counter but no one came out. There were no dogs on the tables being clipped. I left the store. I returned to Petco at 4:00pm and was told that the groomer was running behind schedule. Not only had Lili not been groomed, but she hadn't been bathed as I was told. I demanded my dog be returned to me. The groomers at Petco used to be better than this. The customer service has drastically deteriorated. If they over-booked let the customer know ahead of time and let them decide what they want to do. Also, maybe offer a credit for the inconvenience of having to wait 6 hours for your dog to be groomed. This is not the first time this kind of thing has happened. I don't like writing these kinds of reviews, but it shouldn't be too much to ask for honesty and decent customer service.

Unfortunately I'm VERY disappointed in Petco. I know it's not the best place. I know it can be dirty and sometimes unorganized but I always ignored this as I usually only use Petco for the grooming salon. Well today I scheduled an appointment to have my dog groomed and left work early to take her in. There was a new employee working in the grooming salon and as I waited for him to figure out what he was doing and check me in I watched the checkout line pile up with no cashier to be seen. They had to page someone to come to the cash register, but this was nothing out of the ordinary for them. As I answered the usual questions about my dog's health when I mentioned her heart murmor (which she has had for years) he told me that he would have to call the vet to make sure it's okay to treat her. This seemed strange because she's had the heart murmor for years and has been getting groomed at Petco for years, but I let him do what he felt he needed to do. When he called the vet he told me that the receptionist told him that my dog would have to come in and get on heart medication before she could be groomed. This was very confusing to me because the vet told me that my dog would not need heart medication unless she developed a cough, so I called the vet myself. The receptionist told me that it was totally fine for my dog to be groomed. I then told this to the new Petco employee and asked him that if I called them back (on speakerphone of course because I didn't hear any of the conversation that he had with the receptionist) he told me that he would need paperwork from the vet stating that she is on medication and that it's okay to groom her. I have to say I was utterly disgusted with his unwillingness to speak with the receptionist a second time. I walked out and will NEVER enter a Petco again. I would give negative stars for this experience if I could.

I usually have really good experiences here. Unfortunately today was not good. I don't know if it was the manager or different workers or what but it was so horrible. I had an appointment made for 1:30 which the girl told me would be 1 - 1 1/2 hours, but I finally got him back at 5:30. When I came in, I told herI was kinda strapped for cash so I just wanted his hair cut and his nails clipped- that's it. I then later found out that they did what I got last time- a cut, a facial and a breath freshener which was way more than I had. When I told them I had been waiting too long for him to just get his hair and nails cut, the manager went over and started cutting his hair. I could see her (his face and tail wasn't even cut yet) because you can see all of the tables where they cut the dogs, and she was being super aggressive and I could see how upset she was. She was rushing and almost strangling him. I could see a very sarcastic look on her face. Before she had went over to him, the girl that was originally cutting him was barely doing anything. She was also yelling at him. The cashier that rang me up was kind though. Thanks Tyha :,) Overall really bad experience- won't be going back.

I've been going here for 7yrs, today I was turned away because they would NOT accept my vaccination sheet. Even though they are up to date and directly from my vet that I have also been using for over 15yrs. They have seen these vaccination sheets before and have accepted them in the past. Will never return, they don't know how to treat patrons of their store.

The store was very dirty. I was looking for dog food and I found a pizza box just sitting on the shelf. In the front of the store they had cricket boxes with rotting potatoes in them just sitting on the floor. I can say this with out a doubt I won't be coming here again.

Place was Completely disgusting nothing was clean. Staff is not friendly. Little to no knowledge in the store. This will be the last time I use a Petco. I never have a good experience in them.

The groomer, Brandy, was very friendly and personable. My dog looked better than she has looked in several grooms somewhere else. We will be back- she also smelled great and had the cutest bows I have ever seen, and she is 12. Great job! The only complaint I would have is that check-in and inatke was very slow. However, it was worth it.

Asked for help finding ear treatment for my dog at home in pain... store employee told me to wait by the pet medication and she would find me someone who could help. I stood in that spot waiting, in what seemed to be a fairly empty store, watching these employees stand around on their phones and playing with puppies. Never got any help.
