My wife asks why I don't I go to Lowes or Home Depot due to them being closer? I answer the same every time. McCoys, the employees actually know what Hillman Phillips Head 1/4" bolts and matching lock Washers are... and where to find them. They don't have 12' animatronics and trees for sale. They have everything the everyday man needs.
I don't have to walk 2mi across the 100' tall aisles to find a telescopic inspection mirror.
The 2-3 folks that are working there at any given time are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommended above all others.

Can be a little pricier compared to big name hardware stores but overall for most quick things you need theyll have and Carmen is always very helpful and knowledgeable of everything in store

very experienced staff and very patient with newbies or just starting out. learning how to use the tools of the trade and building something when I ask a question I don't get that black stair followed by. that's not my department. everyone is more than willing to help and if it's not their field they will take you to the person that is educated in that department. instead of leaving you hanging. I will keep coming back long as I live in Baytown. they've got a customer. thank you McCoy's. happy New Year!
