I still don't understand why Maritime employees have to take this test knowing we don't do any excavating or work on scaffolds or have to have a permit to work at the terminal 50% of these tests for plant workers not maritime.

Lackluster multiple websites. Hard to navigate, Atlas is a confusing nightmare, no visible link to online resources with how to register for a class. Needs a complete overhaul. Reminds me of Oracle where they throw it at you then expect you to know how to use it. In both case I avoid like the PLAGUE. Prefer HASC, CSCC, and GCSC any day of the week. Other than that they have nice employees and a clean training facility.

As an employer. Signing up employees for classes has to be the worst website interface ive come across. Please freelance someone to make your scheduling/cancelling/rescheduling easier. If this was fixed it can keep me from calling your monotone, short, rude, employees from having to do their job. Because i know they hate doing it, judging from their tone every time i call. Please just try to do what HASC has done. It makes my life and your staffs lives way more efficient.

Procedures here are ridiculous and sub par to that of HASC. I only come here when I have no other choice.

Training room is small and the computers always seem to have trouble. Generally not as full as HASC but also takes some time to get going on the site specic training. Staff is nice but often only two windows are open and no self check-in.

Went to get my training and background/physical at the Prime building outside the ISTC building. Everything was smooth up until the "Doctor " checkup. The pretend doctor they have there makes you feel comfortable with small talk and health questions up until you start the hernia check...mind you; I've had plenty of check ups and have never been stared at like she does when you're dropping my pants. When she touches you...It's like you're being slightly molested. Never felt that uncomfortable just to cough. She needs to go back to a training class or something... somethings not right.

In and out. Smaller place than HASC but I didn't have a choice since HASC only does "Houston Area" and not anything else up north. But everyone was friendly and the mouse, seat, and keyboard was clean, then cleaned again after I left. I guess what I'm saying is the staff is trained well and are professional.
