The big guy in at the front desk was rude and uniformed of my rental. I had to show him a receipt cause I had prepaid for my rental and he said no I didn't. After showing him the receipt he never apologize he just aggressively told asked me what card will I be putting on file for the deposit... it was disgusting and I will never go back there again.. I never had a issue with other rental places

Car dirty, no key fob, nissan versa, very small. car for the family, called several times to exchange the car and all the answers were no, can't help. Would not recommend, but it's what the insurances offer, make sure to ask yoir insurance to get a different car rental place

Unprofessional, rude and inconsiderate. I made a reservation for an electric vehicle during the last business week. And I was told upon arriving to the location that they never had the vehicle and that their employee rented the last vehicle over the weekend. The manager also stated that they only ever had one vehicle yet smiled when stating that he gave me 3 hour notice. I wasn’t awake and was confident that my reservation was enough to place a hold for the vehicle, if you had my information and reservation request in the past week and knew you only had one vehicle and wasted my time coming down to never have a vehicle something is seriously wrong with the way you manage yourself and your tiny store front. He said I was entitled to my opinion and this is mine. Hope you enjoy your one star. And also please know that the manager said they do not accept incoming phone calls as I also said I tried calling four different times this morning. Guess they like the bait and switch tactic to get you to the store when you have no where else to go. Please avoid this place. Get better management and customer support

Reserved a Uber vehicle, they said they had no vehicle. Person lied saying they tried calling me, I had no missed calls. They should take the offer off. Wasted $55 to get here.

A lack of respect, I came with some friends because they had to do maintenance on their rental car for Uber and it turns out that they sold the car and they don't have a replacement, this experience was horrible, I do not recommend this agency.

Hertz has always been the best place for us to rent a car. They have never turned us away (great availability) and always try to give us something within our price range. The cars are taken care of and very clean. John is the best guy there and will always take care of you. You honestly can’t go wrong renting from here.

I don’t often give reviews for services, but felt compelled to leave a glowing review for the team at Baytown Hertz. I was traveling from out of town and ran into issues with my rental from another hertz location. The man helping me at the counter helped me get what I needed and really cut through a lot of the bureaucracy of the issue I was having. I don’t come to Houston often, but I know I will always rent from here moving forward. Thanks for the great service!!!

Some of the most friendliest and personable people work in here just amazing. Every time I have entered that building I am always taken care of with the greatest respect and satisfaction. John and others are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of. I have zero complaints, but 1000th of praises to that entire team.

Someone that is ME is calling and calling because they live 1 hr away and made a reservation on Monday, Calling about the reservation to KNOW whether you have a vehicle on hand. And NO ONE has picked up since yesterday Tuesday. The one time yesterday someone did pick up, they said they will call back at 8am today on Wednesday to let me know if they do or don't so I dont have to drive 1 hr away to find out that they don't.
Since 8am until 1145am as I'm writing this NO ONE has called Me, neither Is Any one picking up the phone on this business. Is this business still alive?? Is it WORKING, is it OPEN???
I cannot understand what is going on with All these car rental agencies. It's a real disgrace if you are still in business. I've called the other Hertz rental in Sugar Land, and it's the same thing. NOT ONE SOUL picks up and call will hang up after 10 rings or so. From Monday to today Wednesday I've called Baytown and Sugarland Hertz for about 20 times altogether!
At least have another means of your customers reaching out via email or voice mail, that you can follow up to. Hire someone that is specifically only going to take calls, followups and email inquiries for your business to be running SMOOTHLY.
This is a Disgrace of your business. BBB has to hear about this.

How hard is it to answer the phone!!!!??? Called 6 times in a row and no answer at all!!! Absolutely ridiculous!
